Jumbo Posted September 13, 2020 Share Posted September 13, 2020 the atl/sea game on locally, like every nl game the last couple years, is so much better for a football fan than anything the football team brings to the table, overall even devout fans of this team feel far more free to just watch other games that remind them why like nfl football...you can try what i do the last couple years during the season more than not...just check in on this team briefly to see how it's going until serious improvement is real...treat it like some other tv-fare...just check in a little to see how they're doing and go watch options that more worth watching Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

NoCalMike Posted September 13, 2020 Share Posted September 13, 2020 What continues to boggle my mind season in and season out, is that how this franchise seems to continually have 4-5 players on defense on any given play that don't seem like they even belong playing at the NFL level. Every team has their 1 or 2 emergency sub players that might get blown up on a random play or two throughout the game, but they are quickly taken out and never heard from again until the next game. No one is expecting pro-bowl or even very good players at every single position, but it continues to amaze and puzzle me how our secondary continually have players that simply do not look like they belong anywhere near the professional level. He beat his defender soundly and then was clearly held. agree. the commentators even spent time post-play during the replay that the refs are "letting them play"/"get after it" aka there was definite contact. skins4eva Posted September 13, 2020 Share Posted September 13, 2020 Haskins needs a lot of work. He’s a guy who needed preseason snaps. Same holds true for the offense. A lot to expect them to come out clicking having this many new pieces. Lack of preseason really hurt teams like us and therefore helped teams like philly who have been in the same system for a number of years. Let’s see what the second half is like.
