!!!!0mgz!!!! Trent Williams finally showed up

Over the years fans have always overvalued players on the open market. I am hoping for a quality 2nd round pick and maybe a lower rounder. I just don't see teams giving up a first round pick for an aging, injury prone player. Unfortunately, the Browns GM got fired so I don't see a front office exec making a bad decision. You also have the draft coming up so teams are hesitant to give up picks now.

Trump and his cabinet/buffoonery- Get your bunkers ready!

I make absolutely no excuses for my comments. The political climate has gotten so caustic under this President, one can no longer have an actual discussion with a Trump supporter. One can even make an argument that the economy, that is praised probably 10 times a day on the Republican propaganda network, is a continuation of Obama's and partially the result of credit carding the future by raising the debt. A rising debt that Tea party hypocrites cried and cried and cried about under Obama. I am not here to talk about the former president, just to point out the hypocrisy. My intent was not to troll, just to point out that Trump Supporters, as pointed out in this thread, are brainwashed hypocrites that accept a horrible person as their president that has zero concern for the people of this country, doesn't care about making it great, and has a single goal in mind and that is to make Trump himself great. It has become sad that some Trump supporters are nice people, just no capacity or ability to see Trump for what he is. But alas, there are many that openly watch and accept the propaganda being put out by Fox opinion and propagate the lies that are told. Fox and Trump do a great job or making stuff up and then let it just sit there, later disproved by actual news people and such. Doesn't matter by then because the brainwashed have accepted and believed. I could go on and on and on with the horror. Trump supporters can break the law, knowing they will get a pardon. What a sad place this country is currently in.

Trump and his cabinet/buffoonery- Get your bunkers ready!

So, I posted a simple comment. Told the truth. Didn't bother providing extensive material, quotes and sources to back it up. To do so would be pointless. It is no longer worth debating with a Trump supporter as they brainwashed. Like in Manchurian Candidate. Are you a Trump Supporter? Does Trump not lie, make stuff up, and is basically a Dictator who doesn't even know the Constitution much less follow it. And, when the Trump Supporters don't care what he does, calling it speaking his mind, destroying what makes this country great, it does not matter to them unless a Democrat, any Democrat does the exact same thing. Then it is wrong, horrible and life will end as explained on Fox Opinion. No longer Fox News as they got rid of all their actual journalists. Posting pages and pages of the truth, showing hours and hours of the actual truth on video to a Trump Supporter doesn't do anything. Did Major Marco know he was brainwashed?

Trump and his cabinet/buffoonery- Get your bunkers ready!

Trump supporters are Brainwashed hypocrits. Trump lies, makes stuff up, is racist and doesn't do anything unless it benefits him. And, that is just the basic stuff. And cue, the brainwashed.

Welcome To The Redskins: Ron Rivera, Head Coach

I am interested to see how much player acquisition control Rivera will have. He, obviously, will be involved in the selection of draft choices and bringing in FA's. But, will he be the deciding factor, be a GM/Coach or something in between.

Welcome To The Redskins: Ron Rivera, Head Coach

Fair, but fair to me, this is not the first thread welcoming a new coach with much fanfare and such. And, I like the hire. Unless the skins took a chance on an up and coming new coach that worked out, I think they snagged a quality coach that the players will come to work for. Moving forward, be interesting to see if he keeps any of the old staff.

Welcome To The Redskins: Ron Rivera, Head Coach

I am cautiously opportunistic. I like the hire, but we have been here before. Dan is still the owner.
  8. Not a known source Robert Hansen believes " Schafer will move into Bruce's roll and Kyle Smith moved into more of a traditional gm role. " I actually like this. Give people within the organization a chance to excel. Any GM you bring in would be a somewhat unknown commodity so if this happens I like it. Just have to determine power structure, but it will be better with Allen gone.
  9. Sorry the failure of the last twenty years slipped your memory. The endless stupid player acquisitions and bad coaches. And, every single year we sit here in the off season always thinking the organization has finally turned things around. Finally giving us hope. Heck, just look at all the threads created during training camp last summer. How did they turn out?
  10. I like it too, but the EGO of head coaches gets in the way of teamwork and listening to the scouts and FO personnel. I just hope Rivera continues the team effort approach and he is not given sole GM duties.
  11. Not unhappy with Rivera coming in. My big issue is how much say he will have over the acquisition of players. Many more coaches fail then succeed when given GM duties. I like the FO personnel guys so I hope they will have strong input. Also, I stopped respecting Dan a long time ago. He is the common denominator since he bought the team in the skins failure. He no longer gets a pass. He favors players, treats regular people with disrespect and has not ability to communicate with the fans.
  12. Great, but Dan still owns the team. He is still the common denominator. At this point, not sure if I want to give Dan the benefit of the doubt regarding the next GM or if no GM, person in charge of all football operations.
  13. Case is a backup QB. Someone to come in on spot duty. I hope we keep him.
  14. As was said earlier, we are set with receivers next season
  15. like it, but too little too late
  16. Sims needs to do a better job at securing the ball when going to the ground so we don't have to depend on a review.
  17. None of that is going to work tonight against this defense. Come on, better play calls
  18. I like Harmon, and I agree no foul
  19. Our secondary got exposed on that drive. Hard to be critical based on who they are.
  20. That is the skins defense I have come to observe this season. Bad tackling, bad angles and just not getting it done.
  21. I had Whitten - just hate him
  22. Not a bad pass, Sims got to get it done
  23. Sweat having a good game. We do have some building blocks for the future, especially if we can secure the 2nd pick and have another good draft.
  24. Our Veteran QB was not helped by our Oline
