    Maye is the least exciting for me. Daniel's is exciting but makes me nervous because of RG3 PTSD. McCarthy looks good on tape and I can get behind it.

    Sports is pretty interesting in that the new team always believes lack of production was because the other team didn’t know how to utilize a player properly and often based on potential rather than production.

    If every QB could improve; then every QB would become god-tier. Some guys don’t have the motivation and others just can’t get better no matter how hard they try. We have to hope we land a guy that translates to the NFL and then has the drive to keep getting better.

    Every so often, I'll go to Youtube and watch the most recent highlight videos of the top three QBs. I try my best to convince myself Maye and Daniels would be a great pick (which ultimately it may be) but each time I watch clips; Caleb just seems the most impressive. Tough job these talent evaluators have.

    Trojan Horse. We’re doomed. If the Bears fire their coach next year, they probably wouldn’t hesitate to hire Ben Johnson if he continues to be a successful OC during the 2024 season.

    Play calling for a head coach is not the end all, particularly when the guy we are coveting is an OC and not the HC. Dan Campbell doesn’t call plays, it’s Ben Johnson. So find yourself a coach (be it offense or defense), then get yourself the right coordinators and let them lead that side of the ball; if Ben doesn’t work out.
