Not sure if there is any "hate" for him. It is more about him being the QB is a sign of a team generally going no where. He is serviceable, but not a difference maker. Sort of a journeyman version of Kirk Cousins if you will. Keenum's best season was the year everything else on offense was elite and he thrived, but on team like the 2019 Redskins, that is mediocre overall, I personally just don't see the need for that kind of QB.
