Though the big one: Seminole Hard rock in Hollywood hasn't yet. Though they pretty much shut down everything else the casino but the actual casino. I hope to go tomorrow, if it's still open. One last day of fun before the country shuts down. I will just binge watch some TV and probably do some spring cleaning. Ha! I actually had a Security Officer that worked for me retire to Florida and works at that Casino. I need to hit him up. The Cherokee Hard Rock here closes tonight. Renegade7
Wife finally nixed us going to the gym together anymore, had to change entire targeted muscle group routine to account for me giving all my stuff away to downsize. Got an elliptical and pullup bar and that's it, feel like I'm training to be Batman up in here, bout to wrap my jumper cables around my spare tire or some ****. Apparently I can only use the whiskey bottle for biceps for so long because it's getting lighter when I do that...

tshile
Ironically I’m perfectly situation to work from home. I’m 100% mobile. Internet or cell signal and I’m good. but I can’t get anything done because I have to help everyone else figure out how to work remotely I’m this close to just telling people “Honestly I don’t know, I’m still trying to figure it out myself. I’ll call you when I have a solution”

Unless of course, that is your intention.
SoCalSkins
I am down to about 4 liters of bourbon. All the delivery services in my area check your id when they come to drop it off. I have been so good about zero exposure otherwise and have not gone out at all in days. I don’t know if it’s worth ordering or not. They need to change the rules and let them drop off alcohol behind your door.

I have a pool and decent sized yard so it’s not a cramped situation but I have not left to go anywhere. I heated the pool and bought a bounce house on amazon for the kids anticipating this. So far it’s been decent. But I have been going through my bourbon supply much faster than I anticipated. I don’t think I’m leaving until the vaccine. I work from home so as long as my job doesn’t go under I think I can pull it off. We will see. It’s not a week yet and seems much longer... visionary
So is anyone ordering anything interesting online while they're stuck at home? I was looking to see if there was a way to order an Irish breakfast kit or black and white pudding for St. Patrick's Day on Amazon online over the weekend, and but they were all way too expensive and would take too long to get here. I did order some things from Hot Topic a few days back including something for my mom's birthday ahead of time because they kept giving me discounts and coupons. purbeast
Arrived at Dulles last night at 5:20pm and that place was a ghost town. I've never seen an airport so empty in my life. Then the drive home back to Rockville at prime rush hour was a breeze. There were a lot of cars on the road but no traffic or slowdowns at all. It was like driving on the ICC when I go to work. Got an email that my gym is closed for at least 2 weeks too. Which blows because I took the week off of the gym prior to my trip, then on vacation didn't lift once. So it'll be a month before I can even pump any iron. I do have a treadmill at home though so if I can build up any will to use it, I can at least get some sort of exercise. Or maybe clean up my bike and go out for some rides. I am at work right now as they are still trying to figure out what to do with us as contractors. Hopefully by the end of this week it's remote work. I have an arcade game project I want to work on this week but I need to go to Home Depot to get a 4x8 of particle board to build a shelf in my cabinet. I don't have any means to get it home though and don't want to borrow my brothers truck or moms van so not sure if I will do that. I do have a few Switch games to finish so I will probably be doing a lot of gaming when at home. I should have stayed in St. Thomas for like 2 months. I had my laptop with me so in theory could do remote work.

Wildbunny
Day 1. We've been locked down for an hour and a half officially now. I'm supposedly working from home, but since I have lots of ork to do, I don't really know where to start. It seems kinda weird for now, but morale is still good. Hopefully I'll be able to go out on a few occasions, probably next tuesday when wife will be home as I have to also take care of kids for now. That gives me time to keep BHRBN up to date, and since moves are really limited, maybe it's the best time to quit smoking....

purbeast
Oh another wrench for us is that my wife is pregnant so we have regularly scheduled doctors appointments. I'm assuming they are all going to continue to go as planned, but by it's nature requires very close proximity. We have the anatomy sonogram on Thursday then the followup with our normal OBGYN next week. It's kind of scary that she is due on August and we don't really know how this is going to play out at this point with hospitals. I hope by then, this is all an afterthought.
