Ill play devils advocate here.  Why not put Trent at LT, He is better then Ty.  This is reminiscent of moving Roullier to G and putting Berg at C.... Just sayin...

Obviously putting TY at G

Again Ty is a pure LT - he is a terrible guard. If you want to maximize the efficacy of the line, you put Trent at guard

Trent > Ty at LT

However - Trent at LG and Ty at LT > Ty at LG and Trent at LT

I guess half a Moses is better than none, but he hasn't been good this season anyway, and probably been playing as half all along.

I think this is why OT for me rises to the very top of my 2019 draft wish list.

I think Moses has taken a step back even when healthy, which is a rare occurrence

Ya know, if it kept us in games/alive in the NFC east moving Trent to guard than I'm all for it.. at this point it's gonna take whatever it takes to get some wins..

Oh and #inbillcallahanwetrust

I like what the Patriots are doing putting that wide receiver in at running back who has done a hell of a job the last couple weeks..makes me wonder could we use Matt I as a guard on a play or two lol

Im just using the same logic about Roullier and Berg. Makes no sense to play our best player out of position.

What you have to look at is is Berg @ C + Roullier @ G > Roullier @ C + Berg @ G?

When Williams comes back you move Cooper to RG and Williams to LG. That is a good OL. Not elite obviously. But good. Now there is no guarantee that Cooper makes it through the game this week. The guy cant stay healthy. He has played well when on the field though.

Honestly, this line really excites me for some reason.

maybe they come in and they actually play better than our previous OL line up. They are fresher half way through the season.

Sure, I'm positive whoever is at RG is going to outplay Brandon Scherff. Will someone outplay Laovau? Now, that could happen, but we also have Moses and Trent out.

Finding guys off the street is gonna be like last year. Remember how that went?

In an optimal world both will be healed up and back next year. Plus, we just took an OT with our 3rd - Christian.

Playing T has got to be one of the more difficult jobs on the field.  Poor Christian got lifted up off his feet.  I wonder if he is starting this week, or his having nightmares from last.

Trent isn't getting any younger and Christian will likely be a backup swing tackle, at best.

I think it would be wise to draft a potential starting LT this year before the wheels fall off of Trent. He can start in Moses' spot since he is showing himself to be less than consistent.

Moses didn't look too hot after his rookie year either. Patience. Development. It takes time.

Agree. Would seem that time has come.
