Serious Question: Do you regret letting Cousins go?

Ahhh ok, its all so clear to me now. Considering this team is on the cusp of SuperBowl glory year in and year out clearly Kirk Cousins was holding this team back from the greatness Alex Smith or Dwayne Haskins will deliver.

Serious Question: Do you regret letting Cousins go?

And the same people are droning on with the same debate, the question is Do you regret the Redskins letting Cosuins go , Not can Kirk Cousins win a Superbowl and be league MVP. Or are you people that delusional to think we are ever winning anything more than a wildcard game with Dan Snyder as the owner of this football team ? See, untill you face the reality that a 8-8 season with our QB throwing for 4000+ yards is in fact OUR SUPERBOWL you people will continue to live this pipe dream that some day this organization is going win it all. IT NOT HAPPENING !!! Never, the ceiling for this franchise is being competitive not being dominate and with Cousins we were not only competitive every Sunday we were dangerous. Now we are the laughing stock of the league

Serious Question: Do you regret letting Cousins go?

OOOO Please ! Cousins was LIGHT years ahead of Haskins in his rookie season. Its not even close. Not to mention Cousins first NFL start he rallied us with a 28 point second half come from behind victory over Cleveland, You really want to compare Haskins to Cousins Regular Season Passing Rushing Scoring Fumbles Off. Serious Question: Do you regret letting Cousins go?

The real question should be , "Do you regret letting RGIII go, at least there is good & bad numbers, Playoff and atrocious seasons to compare ? Only a fool would make a case for letting Cousins go compared to the current clown show of QB's currently on the roster . The numbers don't lie and its better to be on the cusp of 500 with a feared passing game then be the laughing stock of the NFC with Haskins. 9. This team is such a bunch of **** ups they can't even lose right. Watch us go from a top 4 pick to middle of the draft as we now go on a December winning streak.

Kerrigan is going to miss his first game in God knows how many starts tomorrow. What a warrior, Monte Coleman, Darrell Green , London Fletcher and Kerrigan, Thats what Redskins football is Use to be about. Shout out mention to Morgan Moses who hasn't missed a game since 2016

Is ES starting this again ? Its like the Zorn Campbell Era all over again

Next Day Thread: Redskins vs. Lions

Terry McLaurin is the lone bright spot on a otherwise disaster of a season, did we really get that lucky or did someone on the Redskins actually do their homework on this kid ?

Thanks for sharing this, I was planning something similar for December, sounds like a terrible experience .

Game Day Thread - Skins vs Putty Cats

Haskins EGO thus far tells me he would gain no benefit from working with a "mentor". In order to learn from another you have to be open to criticism and acceptance that your game needs "work". I'v yet to see him express this and showing up 2 hours before kickoff doesn't exactly scream "I take my job serious"

Welcome to the NFL Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State

At what point does Haskins wake up and realize his 50td season from Ohio state means nothing in the Pro's and he needs to start behaving and playing like the professional NFL QB we thought we were drafting. His EGO needs to get inline with his NFL production thus far. I couldn't imagine any coach watching from home or another team would honestly want to inherit this owner & QB combo, Snyder & Haskins , what a recipe for failure

Welcome to the NFL Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State

You know what Spiff, I'm not about "contention anymore. I'm passed that stage in the Redskins Dan Snyder ERA. As i said in another post I'm all about the Redskins being respected, having a feared passing game like we had with #8. This team is never going to "contend" or "win a Superbowl" with snyder. Being EXCITING on Sundays is good enough for me. We wont have that with Haskins, I can tell you right now, I'v seen it all before and so have you and so has Martin, you guys are just in denial. But you know it deep down inside.

Welcome to the Washington Redskins Derrius Guice RB LSU

If Guice could stay healthy no doubt in mind this kid is a game changer-pro bowler- maybe ring of fame type player. But I don't see him ever staying healthy. ****ty thing to say and i wish him all the success and health in the world but , yeah...

Welcome to the NFL Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State

Thats precisely my position , feel free to revisit my post in 3 or 4 years when Haskins is in the pro bowl , but he won't be, I'v seen it all before.... Ohio state has produced a long list of NFL ready and successful QB's said NO ONE EVER

Welcome to the NFL Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State

Actually Jason Campbell has alot to do with this thread, How many wasted years under Zorn did we spend waiting for JC to develop in to the first round QB he was suppose to be ? Todd Collins stepping in and leading us to the playoffs..... I'm too old to sit through another 4 or 5 years of Dwayne Haskins stinking up the joint , sorry, Same goes for Keenum, Colt and Alex Smith. Get them all the F out of here and bring in some young guns with potential because this current roster of QB's has ZERO POTENTIAL
  22. JoeJacobyHOForRIOT

Serious Question: Do you regret letting Cousins go?

No one did it for 3 consecutive seasons but Alex Smith did it for 1, and we signed him... With that said the Chiefs had the second coming of Brett farve waiting in the wings while we had well , nothing more than Snyders checkbook

Serious Question: Do you regret letting Cousins go?

Reading that is very depressing because its so true. Imagine this is a professional sports organization. The highlight of last Sunday's game was a shot of the empty stadium. Imagine empty seats being a fans only hope in a attempt at forcing the owner of our beloved franchise to sell the team , Imagine this being the current state of affairs as a Redskins fan. Never mind we are living it !

Serious Question: Do you regret letting Cousins go?

Bottom line, Dan never warmed up to Cousins. Can anyone honestly sit here and tell me if RGIII had passed for 12000 + yards and a 82 TD -36 int ratio his final 3 seasons here he would not have been offered a mega contract ?

Serious Question: Do you regret letting Cousins go?

Although i agree with the sentiment Iv always felt just being respected and having a feared passing game (which we had with kirk) was enough for me in the Daniel Snyder era. This team will never come close to a Super Bowl with Dan, never. But respectability is a realistic and achievable goal, and with Cousins we had that. Look at us now with the current roster QB's , Pathetic. I'm with you brother
