What websites do you visit?

Recommended Posts

ESPN, CNN, a hip hop forum, pornhub, ubs.com to check my investments....that's about it.  I am boring.  Oh spend a lot of time on Youtube.  I also search random events and people on Wikipedia.

It’s 3 minutes, but you could start at 1:30.

This guy again!?!? What the hell? Someone else just posted a random picture of this dude with a fedora that had a safari flap on the back.

It’s too late for me, shirt brother. I’m awake now.

Not many, honestly. Mostly when I am on my computer i am playing with my graphics stuff.

Speaking of which, my favorite inexpensive stock photo site; canstockphoto went out of business.
All the others want ungodly amounts for stock images. Anyone know of a good cheap site?

I come here to talk politics and world events, and any other assorted nonsense we come up with. I find ES a great sourcing site.. and then I can read on these topics wherever i want. I may not 'get' my news here, but i get what is going on, and then some. I don't have any single site for news.. I will look at the same stories on different places.

I use Twitter to talk football. @BangRadioHour

DVIDS - Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (dvidshub.net)   I go here a lot for work. This is the official media repository for the Dept. of Defense. If you like military pics of any sort, this is a fine rabbit hole to drop in. The search engine and site design is a bit clunky, but it's a treasure trove. If you do go and search, say an aircraft, give it the name rather than the designation number..  like search "Hornet" rather than F-18. Also, a free acct allows full size downloads, and they are big enough for high quality prints.

Udemy: I am a graphic designer and I am self taught,  and to keep ahead of the curve, I use udemy.com a LOT. Excellent training site on a lot of topics, and inexpensive. In the last year, i have learned Sharepoint from scratch in here. Good courses, well broken out. Both beginner and advanced courses.
*Nice tip: If you want to take a course in there, put it in your cart and leave it there. In about a week or so the price will suddenly drop drastically.

Here's another fun gallery site: https://www.coverbrowser.com/ Cover Browser,, pretty much any comic book cover in existence, and a lot of magazines too. Just a nifty trip down memory lane sometimes, other times for some inspirations.

I'm rather boring as far as internet surfing goes.

Bogleheads.org - a message board with fabulous advice on investing and personal finance for people who want to self manage their finances. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful people there.

This is me, too lol...I'm creating all sorts of **** in Photoshop and Illustrator for the most part, so I'm kinda limited in what sites I visit. And the ones I do visit tend to do with creating graphics and art.

Oh, and I've used https://www.pexels.com/ for stock images if only because their images are free and the selection is halfway decent. There are a number of other free stock sites but I can't remember their names. Also, 123rf.com has some affordable stock images/videos. And I use https://pixabay.com/  for free sound effects and free music clips. Not sure if they have free stock photos.

As for the thread topic...sites I visit on a regular basis:

Extremeskins

Twitter

Youtube

leonardo.ai

starryai.com

promeai.com

nightcafe.studio

Instagram and facebook occasionally throughout the week.

I can't remember the last time I visited pornhub or xhamster or anything like that. Oh, wait, yes I can...it was about 3 minutes ago lol...
