it was a good win, but he's still not the answer. at some point i still want to see howell and draft a qb. heinicke is a much better than average backup, but not a starter for any long term sustained success.

Sneaky detail, the Rams are on a bye at 3-3, and the Seahawks still have to play, but we could be in a 4 way tie 1/2 game back of the last wild card spot.  Not even halfway through the season, of course

Folks.  I just want to point out that The Legend arrived today.  Fully expect for him to have a better game next week.

I'll give it to Heinicke, he showed a lot of *moxie* in the second half. It wasn't pretty, but he got it done.

**** me, that last play went on forever, but we got the win!!!! Props to Heinicke, McLaurin and the defense, what a win.

 

The Hivers might be over-the-top homers, but they were right about the excitement factor. I really enjoyed that.

I don’t think anyone is saying Heinicke is the long term answer but he is gritty and almost wills the team to a win.
