  1. Getting two OL contributors, an athletic blocking TE and two highly graded defensive players on day 2 would be fantastic.
  2. Day 2 I did 🙋 This roster is starved for TE talent
  3. And I still would be totally okay with them not winning another game for the next 20 years.
  4. What part of our process in FA this offseason suggests we're taking a splashy approach to building a roster? I'm legitimately confused by this take.
  5. Jayden's release is so, so quick. If he can stop searching for escape routes and keep his eyes downfield, paired with his elusiveness, he's going to be difficult to sack.
  6. Lol, **** Drake Maye. He's a Patriot now. Jayden is the guy and I can't wait to see what he accomplishes with this team.
  7. McCarthy has potential and some very good qualities, but him starting day 1 for this Commanders team is a recipe for disaster and Mariota is not a viable QB1. He simply didn't have to throw that many passes at the college level. Daniels is much further along in his development, though it is more possible that we're closer to his ceiling.
  8. I have a reasonable amount of faith that they will because a lot of these are Quinn Guys, plus there's a decent degree of talent in our coaching and player development staff, so they're likely to get the most out of them more quickly than with the bums we used to have. I see us being a 7-8 win team if our rookie QB is good, with Texans style upside. They could also be terrible.
  9. Anyone trying to downplay how impressive this win was: the Chiefs are one of only 6 teams in NFL history to beat TWO #1 seeds and a #2 seed. They beat multiple top 4 offenses and defenses as well, all while playing mostly on the road.
  10. You're moving the goal post all over the place. Are they mediocre or just not one of the all-time great teams? Because they beat the **** out of everyone this season, were loaded with talent and stood as favorites to win it all basically from week 1. Their QB received MVP votes for his play. They're objectively a great team and were considerably more talented than the Chiefs from top to bottom. All the more reason to be impressed by the leadership of Reid and Mahomes.
  11. The 49ers had seven all-pros starting for them tonight. Mediocre??
  12. Diminishing Mahomes' accomplishments by claiming the AFC ISN'T stacked with talent is a unique take to say the least. Lamar was the league MVP. It's asinine to claim that he's not a great QB. He just isn't getting great playoff results yet, like many great QBs of the past didn't at various points of their careers. Maybe he's not "elite" in the same way that Mahomes is, but he's great. Burrow is a great QB. Allen is a great QB. Herbert will be a major threat now that he has a competent coach. Whether or not Jalen should have or shouldn't have been in the Super Bowl, anyone with eyes knows he was fantastic in that game and you couldn't ask for much better QB play. Weirdly disingenuous post.
  13. First half was barely watchable Second half was great I have to hand it to the mental fortitude of the Chiefs as a team. They do have an aura about them. When the 49ers couldn't score TDs, I knew it was basically over. MVP for me was the Chiefs' special teams, which held things down when the rest of the team was playing like total garbage.
  14. Swear to God lolrandom offbeat humor is in 75% of the Super Bowl commercials now.
  15. And saying the Chiefs are Mahomes and a bunch of guys is also ridiculous. This year perhaps, but not always. And probably not next year. The two franchises are remarkably similar in their construction now that the Chiefs are putting greater emphasis on defense.
  16. If Mahomes can get comfortable in the pocket, this could get ugly fast.
  17. The Chiefs have a top 3 defense and a top 3 QB in NFL history. That was all the Patriots needed for almost 20 years.
