So, for end-of-game management:

1. Don't chase points, take the EP.

2. Don't miss an EP.

3. Score before the 2 minute warning so you have the extra TO on defense.

I like Rivera generally as you know. But today isn’t a banner day for him.

weird all our coaches from Gibbs 2 on have been bad at clock management

awful awful coaching on both sides of the ball this entire game. Ron ain’t it and neither are any of these coordinators.

Riverboat Ron. Conservative with his OC so much that the defense can get a safety because of how predictable they’d be. Then gamble on the most idiotic times.

Is there anyone on the teams staff that talks to the coaches about not being complete idiots? Maybe a sports psychologist or something, it’s well past the ability to have someone with just analytics.

When everyone is an idiot what do you do

It's not realistic to think a team is going to come back from 0-22, but the Commanders did what they always do, and crept back in just enough to make it a competitive game again, and then it fell apart again.

I don't care what team and/or what QB's are on the schedule, if the defense plays like this most weeks, they aren't winning many games.

I do think the offense can be good and has the potential to be really good if they can clean some things up. The pieces are there for them to be elite. Just wish we had a couple better OL. Imagine if we still had Trent Williams and Brandon Scherff. Oh well....

But this defense...good grief. 34 points allowed today(2 were from the Safety). Honestly should have allowed over 30 last week. Only one sack today against a Lion OL with 3 starters out. 1 takeaway through 2 games.

And Special Teams was awful today too.

The potential of the offense at least keeps us mediocre...around the 9-8 I predicted for the ..season.
