So the list of GOP senators that can be said to be anti-Trump:

McCain

Flake

Corker

Murkowski

Maybe Collins

That about right?

Chuck Todd was being pretty tough on Flake by asking him a lot of the right questions which somewhat exposes the disconnect in Flakes view. Flake said all these true things today, but now stops short of saying Trump should not be President. He's either fit or unfit for office. No real gray area here.

Real talk, if the GOP is going to keep politicizing Clinton despite nothing coming from the many many MANY years prior to 2016 they spent, I demand she be allowed a rematch in 2018.

Otherwise, just give it the **** up.

I like how the right keeps yelling to get over that Trump won, while they continue to chase Clinton down at every turn.

The GOP has been obsessed with the Clintons for decades, why would this change now that Hillary is out of any leadership roll in ANY branch of government?

Those idiots have been tilting at windmills for years, I fully expect them to mount up and ride again to the cheers of their moronic faithful who believe that everything the GOP are doing now is absolutely better than having Clinton in the White House instead of the Pumpkin King. Millions and millions of idiots are walking among us, and for some reason our society dictates that we be polite to them and pretend that their opinions have merit.

The U.S. Senate moved Tuesday to overturn a rule aimed at making it easier for customers to sue banks, handing financial firms a big win in their battle against post-crisis regulations.

Majority Republicans pushed through a reversal of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau limits on mandatory arbitration in a 51-50 vote. Vice President Mike Pence was called in to cast the tie-breaking vote. The move using Congress’s power to overturn agency rules follows a similar vote by the House in July.

The CFPB rule announced in July would limit companies’ ability to impose arbitration agreements on customers in financial contracts, making it easier for aggrieved parties to join together in class-action lawsuits. Democrats and other supporters of the rule argued that it would give consumers an important protection against mistreatment by banks.

More proof that the GOP is looking out for the interests of average Joe and Jane.

The funniest part, there WILL be Republican voters who applaud this even while it is against their own best interests. These are the people who’s opinions stand on equal footing, people who vote against themselves because some guy prayed in the right church and said they could own all the guns they want.

Im still not going to give these dudes credit for waiting until now to step up. We all saw this coming a year ago.

But im glad people are starting to get their heads out of their asses though.

They knew he was an immoral, infantile, racist bully a year ago.

But a year ago, they figured that they could manipulate him.  (To follow their instructions.)

(And they can.  They just can't manipulate themselves.)

There's a lot of irony when you're talking about obsession with the other side of the aisle, my cigar smoking friend. ;)

It's both sad and unsurprising to hear the chicken **** GOP senators like currently Mike Lee just ducking all responsibility when it comes to standing up to Trump. He is going on and on claiming Trump is draining the swamp, that Trump is doing fine and that regulations are hurting poor people in this country. Which, btw, is one of the giant problems going on right now. Trump is so ****ing terrible that eyes are being taken off the terrible decisions being made when it comes to deregulation which will truly **** all of us.
