  1. 1. Rookie QB or Veteran QB for next season (2021)???

    • Draft QB first round
    • Rookie QB from outside first round
    • Sign FA Veteran
    • Trade for Veteran
    • Stand Pat with one of the QBs we have on Roster, draft QB in 2022 Draft iinstead
    • I don't know
    • I don't care
    • I'm tired of 5 year development plans burned to the ground in less then 2

They are obviously adverse to first round picks.  I'm guessing WFT wouldn't throw in that other 1st rounder, the one Rams gave to take Goff off their hands.

Yes, agreed.  Stafford just isn't worth 2 1st rounders, IMO.

Man so glad they decided not to take our “better” offer. I don’t know what it was, kind of disappointed we offered that much, but hey if we’re willing to sell out for a qb, let’s get us some Watson... an actual difference maker.

Breaking news, WFT has just offered 2021 first & third round picks, 1st round picks in 2022 - 2026, a stadium, a Bentley, their firstborn, a hooker, and a hand job to Houston for Deshaun Watson.

I bet it’s Steven Sims giving the handjob since he’s got such soft hands.

I'd rather roll with Allen & Heinicke.

Yup.  Give Heinicke a chance and build a team around him at this point.  Don't overspend, and use our available cap space to syphon of some FAs.

I wonder what Indy does?  They are kind of screwed.  They have no QB!

If we did offer a 1st and third, I could still see why the Lions would take this deal.  They are basically punting 2021 and 2022.  They can exit Goff in 23 with 8M in dead cap space.  It delays the clock for their additional 1st rounders.  Would not be surprised to see them move back and acquire more ‘22 picks.

Good.  I don’t know what we offered but I’m glad they didn’t take it.

I'd figure that they know they are going to be bad.  Better to play the lotto picks in 2022 and 2023 vs the 19th this year.  Maybe they also like Goff and want to rehab his value in a no pressure environment.
