You don’t call a play expecting it not to work. Why not? Its getting him some long drives and an opportunity to do the basics of reading defenses and lining people up, possibly scoring points. No where to really go with the ball and he put it in a spot no one could get it but the receiver. Off a little, but passable there. The Redskins need to get in the end zone.
