I guess we got our answer from all the wondering 50-100 pages back to what some of the more conservative members of the forums were up to these days? I know 1 person isn't a fair representative of all of them, but I was hoping more instead of less of them were mostly avoiding hanging around due to shame over what the GOP has become rather than being irriated that we don't respect respect Trump enough for the greatness he has displayed. Guess not?! 🤷‍♂️

It really angers me that Americans will vote against a sitting President, basically just because they "don't like him"?

Maybe I’m confused, but what other reason would YOU vote against somebody other than “don’t like him”?

Did I miss the memo and we are now supposed to vote for racist jackasses because “don’t like him” isn’t a good enough reason for some 55 y.o (insert heinous commie-lib insult) who thinks anything left of the third reich is communism?

News flash, he lost the popular vote by a cool 3 million last election. He got crushed in the popular vote this election. He won the first time due to the way the electoral votes shook out. People who sat on the sidelines last time made it a point to vote the douche out.

The majority of this country outright hates him, never mind “don’t like him”.

you should edit out the 'shut-in' as we have no evidence of that in his posts which makes it a little rule 5ish and not all shut ins are the same anyway

some have just been too embarrassed about their football team to socialize much

but i see the true face of the lot of you

You should "weep for this country"  Because , when Biden is deemed unfit in a year?  Kamala Harris will destroy this country!

How and Why will Kamala destroy this country?

BTW, per your original post, would you please point me to Trump's health care plan (that is better than the ACA) or his plan to eliminate the debt? He said he would do those things as POTUS. Just wondering.

Or maybe an update on when we can expect payment for the 2 miles of wall he built?

Good one. I find it weird that we have any problems at all cause Trump said he was the only one that could fix things.

Joe or if Joe has to vacate, Kamala will destroy this country?

You're entitled to your opinion but over 80 million disagreed with you. 7 million more than your love, Donny.  When Donnyboy won in 16, nearly 3 million more disagreed with that result.

Trump has been the worst president in American history and the damage he's done and what he will do on his way out, will take years to undo.

You can live in your delusional Trumpworld like your God: Trump.

Y’all laugh but I’m trying to figure out how we are going to deal with these people for the next few decades. Their stupidity can only kill off so many of them and the rest won’t get any smarter. You can’t educate them. They will only get more radicalized. And we can’t use Jumbo’s method however poetic the cleansing fire would be.

These people are literally unreasonable. And if we let our foot off the gas for one second them will have all the power again.

Hoping the liberal communist millennial socialists start some type of Logans Run Soylent Green program to help the red states out of their budget messes.

@rdsknbill

Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were all tarred with the "don't elect them we will have raging socialism!!!" label.

The great thing about our Constitution is you need 60 Senators, 218 House Reps and a President for a true ruling mandate.  So even if the Democrats win the GA Senate runoffs, Democrats would be 9 votes away.... from doing things like a Heritage Foundation based health care regulation.

Actually, the filibuster that forces the 60 senator requirement isn't in the constitution.  It is a senate rule that requires the 60 senators for debate cloture to eventually get to an up or down vote where a majority vote wins (actually I think it specifies 3/5'ths for cloture...which is 60 by current count...just sayin' in case Puerto Rico or DC becomes a state or gets a senator at some point).

In any case...just nit picking.  But worth keeping in mind.  The democrats got rid of the 60 vote requirement for judge appointments (not supreme court...but anything lower) during Obama's term and once Mitch got control of the senate he has been filling judge positions without the dem's being able to do anything about it.  Kinda shot themselves in the foot and didn't play the long game there.  Mitch was the one that lowered it to 50 during Gorsuch's appointment.

To be clear McConnell lowered it to 50 for supreme court nominees during Gorsuch's appointment.  A 60 vote threshold for cloture still exists for most other legislation (reconciliation is another exception).

Also just wanted to say, this is why the debate over court packing was pretty hilarious and hypocritical on all parts.  McConnell has been packing the courts ever since he got senate control...but he's been using a tool the democrats gave him to do it.

And yet another person who thinks Trump bears absolutely no responsibility for his defeat. Such people are truly lost.

C'mon... how can you say this during Infrastructure Week?

Since the election,  Trump's public schedule has had zero events on it. He still hasn't attended a COVID briefing over the last two months. He has spent a lot of time golfing though. As for keeping his promises... what promises did he keep? What did he do well? Separating children from parents and locking them in cages?

Lastly, on the socialism front... every Democratic candidate in my lifetime has been touted as a socialist and the most left candidate in human history. They tried to do that with Joe, too. When it didn't stick, they flipped the script to say Kamala was the most socialist, leftist in human history. Far more left than AOC or Bernie Sanders even!!!

Carter didn't make us a socialist country. Clinton didn't make us a socialist country. Obama didn't make us a socialist country. What I'm saying is this. Stop falling for lies. Stop falling for the same lies over and over and over and over again. There's a reason that the economy fell apart after Reagan. It's the same reason the economy suffered under Bush and the banking industry faced nearly total collapse under his son. Trump, too, will leave us with an economy in shambles. McConnell will make sure of it and do his best to make sure we don't climb out of the mess their negligence and active harm caused. The reason is because a large section of voters keep ignoring the facts and vote against their interests.

If the Left sounds tired it may be because we are growing tired of always having to clean up the Right's messes after leaving them a country in good shape.

The constant crying of 'Socialist Left' from the crowd that gave us out of control farm bailouts is laughable. When I throw this back at my GOP friends it falls on deaf ears. There's never any rebuke of this socialist bailout.

In 2019, it reached about $20Billion almost double the normal annual farmer bailout.

Yes, the government has been making direct payments to farmers for a long time. But the size of those payments is growing rapidly. From 2010 through 2017, direct government payments to farmers averaged about $11 billion a year. By the end of this year, those payments are likely to hit nearly $20 billion.

https://www.freep.com/story/money/business/john-gallagher/2019/09/24/farmer-bailout-payments-china-trade-tariffs/2418676001/

And in 2020? More than double the 2019 bailout at $46Billion which makes it FOUR TIMES the annual amount from 2010 - 2017. Why? Because of White House Occupant's stupid trade war.

Farmers have been clobbered financially during the last two years, as Mr. Trump’s trade wars with China and Europe led to tariffs on American agricultural exports, including corn, soybeans, lobsters and peanuts. Then, this year, the pandemic interfered with global supply chains, and restaurant and hotel closures sapped demand. Farmers were forced to dump milk into manure pits and destroy millions of pounds of beans and cabbage.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/12/us/politics/trump-farmers-subsidies.html

So, yeah, preach about the socialist policies of them librals while failing to look at your own political actions & policies the last 4 years. ****ing hypocrites.

But, but, but.... the stock market. Look at the stock market! 🙃

Apparently basing a presidential campaign based on the stock market and TV ratings is a losing platform.

It's not just the stock market.

Heard recently that the industry association for swiss watches says that watches in the $40K and up market are selling at double the rate they were at, before Covid.

Same thing for home sales in the $1M and up category.

For the folks at the top, the recession has already fully recovered.
