It's all good. Nothing can ruin this day for me. I was driving over to my mom's house earlier and this guy honked at me three times then pulled up beside me and said "your tire's low" to which I replied "yeah well your horn sucks." Then later there was this dachshund in my mom's neighborhood that had gotten so I went over to the owner's house and when he came to the door I said, "hey, your wiener's out" and then after he gave me a funny look, "want me to grab it?" So, you can see why I'm on cloud 9 right now.

I'll have what you're having.

Did you take advantage of your chance to vote for Kasich?

I did. Even though by the time the PA primary rolled around it was only Trump and Kasich left, with Kasich having no shot in hell of winning. Then, in the general, I voted against Trump. Because **** Trump. My (former? probably) party lost it's damn mind. They went so ****ing nuts over Obama (and what his 2 electoral wins represented  to poor, older whites) that they agreed that Trump was the "best" choice out of a field of like, 40 people. I don't give a **** that Trump only got like, 40% support in the primaries, he won the general. Enough Republicans changed their mind about him to elect him President of the ****ing United States. What the actual ****?

Among Trump voters, the results were:

     South: 38%

**** the Confederacy and any idiot that supports anything to do with them. Now, then, or ever. I'll admit my prejudice, if I see you with a Confederate flag (and you're not a collector or re-enactor), I assume you're dumb white trash. Judge me for that all you want, fair is fair, but that's what I think.

This I believe is the fourth lawsuit recently against Jones by Sandy Hook parents.

**** him.

It's good that there is some kind of societal recourse against people that lie for money.

Speaking of, here's an update on Seth Rich's parents suit against Fox News.  It's an uphill battle.  https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/fox-news-demands-dismissal-lawsuit-seth-richs-parentse-1109735

Alex Jones and InfoWars have been banned on multiple tech platforms. Apple Podcasts, Facebook, Spotify from what I can tell. I think YouTube took down some pages too.

Long overdue. I had a streak where I was listening to his show every day for a while there and it really messed with my mind. I was seriously considering abandoning traditional life and living off the grid. I was this close to quitting my job and giving away all of my worldly possessions. jNot because I believed him mind you but on the off chance that I'd ever meet Alex Jones, I wanted to be able to punch him right in his fat ****ing face without having to worry about being sued.

Every state uses a primary election system now to choose their final candidate for just about every office.  It didnt use to be the only way.  Smoke filled backrooms did a better job in some places, state conventions did just fine in others.  Local caucuses worked well in other places.

The sportsification and money is the problem.  Add in social media and an endless supply of "media" options for information and voila!  You get a nation becoming more hatefilled and polarized.

So so the media is our enemy? I agree that it is not the primaries being an issue if it was, congress could work together after the elections

Maybe he, Kletus and co. can all take that road on the show to Russia.

Alex Jones told his followers to keep listening on his website.  Oh the irony if the death of net neutrality results in ISPs slowing his traffic to a crawl.  I would imagine the bigger issue would be monetizing his traffic now.  Would companies have the guts to actually advertise on his site?

You know we can't see your gestures, right?  I have no clue how close you were now.  An inch?  A mile?  How do those measurements even factor into you quitting your job.

I'm so confused.

About time these social media platforms quit acting like ****es.  Maybe a little editorial control of these ****shows, hopefully this is just step 1 of gazilion

Tired of these silicon valley assholes getting rich off the degradation of society and the scaling of the mentally ill.

Step 2?  Ban every dumbass 911 truther.

Alex Jones is a terrible person.

Would be curious to see what the monetizing of this asshole looked like for these companies.

And once again, Apple moved first, then everyone else followed, then Facebook brought up the rear.  Facebook nearly lost a principles race to YouPorn.  Think about that.

I really don’t think InfoWars will survive this.

Jones is facing multiple libel lawsuits. He has no reediming qualities and is going to get reamed in the courts.

I wonder what this will mean for the conspiracy ecosystem that is increasingly shifting to outright harassment of individuals rather than Bigfoot and alien theories.

I hope the courts get this right.
