  1. Mueller layed out the case for obstruction of justice and left it up to congress to decide criminal intent. Obstructing justice is a crime, and the evidence seems pretty clear. Which is worse? Lying to investigators because you aren’t sure all the shady **** you were doing was legal or not, or failing to act despite knowing Russia was actively interfering in our elections? https://www-m.cnn.com/2019/04/19/opinions/mueller-report-obama-jennings/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2F

lol... why don’t brazils businessmen donate more money to the museum? Or.... maybe some of the drug runners down there will help pay for the museum. A 200 year old museum isn’t that same type of landmark has an 800 year old church. it has nothing to do with white privilege. Thats rediculous.
  3. I guess it’s only a crime if they actually do something. I think it would be a little strange to file obstruction charges on requests the president made but weren’t implemented, there’s no obstruction, just wanting to obstruct. Im only talking about that very narrow instance. The consensus is that there is a lot of different evidence of obstruction which I won’t disagree with.
  4. Actually I am ok with that facet of American politics. It puts the power to impeach more with the voters. Elections are held every two years, if Americans want a president impeached they should vote for people who will impeach the president. A bigger problem is the gerrymandering and voter suppression that make a lot of competitive districts not competitive.

    What do you Believe??? (Religion)

Occam’s razor is fine. But you shifted from “simplest” to “most likely” when presenting your options. So which is simpler, an omnipotent force created everything we know (similar to, for instance, characters in a video game) or that the universe is the result of some unknown infinitely complex (from our perspective) process we don’t understand? simpler?

    What do you Believe??? (Religion)

No I didn’t. Quote me where I said that. if an omnipotent being exists, he could choose to make himself invisible from us. It sure could.

    What do you Believe??? (Religion)

Perhaps. It doesn’t mean the the universe can be explained without a god though. My arguement was never for a god. My argument was that you cannot be sure the universe can be explained without one. But ultimately, if an all powerful god did exist, surely he could choose to limit mans ability to gain perception.

    What do you Believe??? (Religion)

The argument is flawed. What you are saying is that @AsburySkinsFan argument is not flawed because an argument you made up as an example, is wrong. That’s not convincing. There is no way to see beyond your own perception (and if there was a god he could put blinders on you, and have a logical reason for doing so) so there is no way to determine if the universe can be explained without a god.

    What do you Believe??? (Religion)

I never claimed god existed, I said that your evidence against a god (an assumption that the universe can be explained without a god) is flawed.

  11. I wonder how much of this stuff was going before trump was in office and now there is just a spotlight shined on it.

    What do you Believe??? (Religion)

Probably because athiests vote on issues and not on faith so a little pandering to True Believers won’t really hurt a candidates standing with athiests, but a candidate pandering to athiests would be labeled a satanist demon freak with no morals by the mega churches.... in short, it would hurt candidates more to pander to athiests than it hurts to religious folk. Plus, people trust a religious person more, even though you really shouldn’t. Also, pandering to religious people, there is a community there. An opportunity to gain volunteers, a group of people to hold fundraisers for you ect. Even though it’s not a “church” activity, those churches have people with like minds who will work together to get their candidate elected... athiests don’t really have that kind of infrastructure.

Fixing the Republican Party (new material on pg 9)

I do not. You would have to be several shades left of AOC to be an extreme leftist i think.

People are pretty dumb if they believe people like beck and whoever that other guy is, You can clearly see all the scaffolding around the church... major renovation was going on. Its safe to say the fire was related to that construction. I’m thinking welding of steel support structures inside the spire... Besides, Islamic terrorists blow themselves up or otherwise kill themself in the act — passive aggressive attacks aren’t really their MO... I am a bit surprised ISIS hasn’t tried to take responsibility for it yet, though.

Not saying you are an extreme leftest, @Larry but being a Republican in that past has no bearing on whether you are an extreme leftist now...

Players Tribune: Privilieged (Responsibility rather than Guilt)

I think popeman touched on it, but for me, the expectation that the privileged should want to give their own slice of the pie so someone else can have a taste. Also for me, sometimes people complaining about white privilege want to minimize accomplishments and success of a white person as being mainly attributed to their race and a system that benefits them rather than hard work.

Fixing the Republican Party (new material on pg 9)

It’s not personal.. that’s what is at the core of far-left ideology, and maybe some people on these boards are a part of that far-left. Different perspectives is what makes the net interesting. Im not really sure how else to look at programs that arbitrarily add points to an applicants score on the sole bases of their sex and race as anything but discrimination... it’s probably justified though.

You are confusing the possibility of a God and intelligent design with a mans interpretation of their god.

    What do you Believe??? (Religion)

Your presupposition that the universe can be explained without a god is a conclusion that you cannot support beyond your very limited perspective, which, if a god were to actually exist, would be shaped by that god. He would let you see only what he wants you to see, and if he requires your faith then there is no interest to let you see the proof of his existence, because proof of something doesn’t require faith. Physics and the universe are not known. In order for the “laws of physics” to work on a universal scale, we need dark matter and dark energy to exist, but we don’t know what it is, yet.

How is Tiger doing? There was a tweet on the es live feed saying he was in the trees. Not a golf expert but that sounds bad. I know he was two shots back tied for 2nd last night.

    U.S. Congress Part 116

Well with a sample size of one, 100 percent of the people who shared it shared it because they were outraged, so I have that going for me. How did you find out about it? (I’m assuming another anti-trump Twitter user?)
