They are crowded, he isn't. The old "makes me look bigger" trick. If i recall right, it's in his Art of the Deal book. Back in the campaign there was a (Kimmel?) video of him doing all that stuff and laughing and it was explained. the water off the table thing only makes sense to me in that he was doing what he always does at th table in those situationsd but he did not want to push it at Pence.. and Pence probably removed his bottle to not only give Trump more room, but himself as well.
