justice98
They deserve it, but I feel like we're reaching the floor. Considering that we haven't exactly churned out superstars over the past two decades, who is left? Samuels obviously Portis and Moss, I suppose. Not Champ Bailey, right? Not Cooley, I would have to think. Jansen maybe? After Samuels, if none of that list went up, I could live with it. When I think of the people up at their position, they seem a notch below. justice98
I would think Moss is a lock to make it. I hear you, and I agree he will, but Monk, Taylor, Clark,.....Moss. On first glance, that seems weird. But the tenure, the numbers, a few memorable moments say he's worthy.
skins island connection
Coleman was a guy you'd really not want to meet in a dark alley, but DAMN sure want on your team. Coleman, Green, Butz, ahhh....the good ol' days.. Bostic had a heart twice as big as himself; rarely got beat one-on-one.
Lombardi's_kid_brother
I hear you, and if you're a pseudo middle-aged person you have great memories of the Gibbs years......but at the same time its really sad when you go to games and 95 percent of the Skins history highlights shown is from the 1980s. That's sort of the problem with the Skins and focusing on its history. The franchise has been around 80 years and was good in the newsreel days, for a blip in the 70s, and for ten years under Gibbs. Any real focus on history is going to be on the Gibbs years, because that's really all there is. It's not as bad as the Bears who have pretty much stunk for 50 years....except for one season. But I don't know if you want to make your stadium a shrine to one decade.
Rskins06
Monte Coleman was always one of my favorite Redskins. Anyone remember the reverses on kickoffs, this guy could RUN! Both are well deserving of the honor. GREAT REDSKINS!!!!
Jumbo
Should have pinned this yesterday---let's get some more "congrats" up in this joint.
Stadium-Armory
I didn't quite pay as much attention to the nuance back then, but I recall that Monte was one of the first speed / cover linebackers before it was a "thing". Congrats to Both!

justice98
Monte Coleman was always one of my favorite Redskins. Anyone remember the reverses on kickoffs, this guy could RUN! Cuz he was listed around 240, but he was probably 5 lbs less than that. Those shoulder pads made him look enormous.

Birdlives
Bostic should be a hall of famer. Starting center on 3 winning SB teams. I'm actually surprised these guys weren't already in the ring of fame. Seems like an oversight.

Barney B
Back when our personnel department could do no wrong: finding Monte Coleman in the 11th round, and Jeff Bostic as a UFA. Both these guys were key contributors to the best Redskins teams that ever took the field, and they both deserve this honor. Congratulations! AlvinWaltonIsMyBoy
Congrats. Two blue collar studs. I enjoyed watching them both play. I wish we had Coleman to cover some of these TEs today! Well deserved for both.

Peregrine
Im assuming the Redskins have qualifications for the Ring of Fame, does anyone know how they decide who to vote on and then who gets chosen? By that I mean, the HOF will only allow so many people per year, and they have to have been out of football for X amount of years. Do the Redskins have something similar? Rufus T Firefly
Monte Coleman is one of the first names to pop in my head, when I think back in the day. Yeah, underrated player. Very happy to see him honored this way. Congrats to both of them.
