  1. Yes, I know you pick and choose your favorites, and your slander isnt appreciated. You let other posters do one thing, and others do another, and its sad to see what its turned into around here. I havent crossed any lines that others favorites have been allowed to constantly and you know it. In over a decade Ive received one ban for not even violating a single rule, but instead the rule of "you didnt violate a rule but we still think we want a ban". If thats what you want whats left of ES to turn into, you can do it obviously.
  2. Here we go, some overtime fun to maybe decide a future playoff spot
  3. Are you just a troll? Tough start to the half, line might be in big trouble with Cosmi now out. Gonna see how this team responds. Limiting to a FG here would be huge mentally
  4. You damn right hes gettin down with his bad self again today, gonna win yet another one, love the optimism dude!
  5. Um...............................................do you understand that a blitz means MORE people rushing and less in coverage? And do you understand that "if you hold on to the ball too long" during a blitz it will "turn into triple coverage real quick" is literally insane?
  6. That was the LBs, bit on the fake and went with Jones and vacated the hole, very bad read. Jones contain has got to be the outside man, not the inside backer.
  7. So far this has been very one sided outside of one long ball and Jones scrambling. They have to stop him running the ball, that seems to be the only chance the Giants have in this game.
  8. If they are blitzing a lot, there wont be triple coverage, there will be single coverage. I think if one were ever to do YOLO balls it would be way better under a heavy blitz than a 3 man rush.
  9. Not sure some rando invited to spout off on a radio show knows anything more than some rando on a message board. Can you imagine grinding, putting the work in week in and week out, putting your body on the line, getting your shot because everyone else sucks, then winning game after game, and being told if you dont win 7 straight and instead go 6-1 we are benching you for the guy who we wouldnt bench if he lost 7-8 games? How clutch would you have to be constantly to survive that? I mean thats a great way to lose the locker room, and playoff football is all about the locker room.
  10. This is a strange one. On paper we match up super well again, but we are due for a let down, and they ARE a solid team. Yes, they are overrated and are a bad 7-4 team. But this isnt a 4-7 team, and its hard to keep a streak going this long without a setback. I could see this one going either way. Getting the Giants back to back right now is probably an ideal scenario, so hopefully we can take advantage of it. One of the worst Run Ds in the league again, run it 40 million times for two straight games on them. and crush their spirit with what hopefully is 5 straight losses. Im predicting with a couple big plays they eek it out 17-16. Amazing the NFL created an entire metric to judge Heinickes league wide impact... Also interesting to note here, despite all of the loud proclamations of how lucky TH has been with dropped interceptions, the Commanders are the 2nd LEAST lucky teams in the entire league based on that. Seems they would be very very wrong about that, and Im sure will reasonably and rationally change their tune about future games.
  11. I cant remember the last time watching this team actually having a shot at the playoffs, its great. If we win one more game its the most wins in the past 6 years. 7 straight games with either a win(or should have) and seeing them fight it out each play is just fun to watch right now.
  12. Aa lot of people that dont like the wins, but instead take the naive Ron Rivera approach of being deluded that the team is better than it is. Thats what lead to him blowing up the Oline, and later blowing up the DB core both of which were massive mistakes. A lot of wishing for past failed QBs, that somehow even though they couldnt win, magically the QB you hated then you would love now. The insanity is real, and these "fans" deserve every disappointment they have had over past years. Man, imagine how good every QB would be if he didnt have to play in the actual games and just lived in your imaginary head or on paper. But I have heard crazy rumors that you only get wins in the NFL for winning games...big if true.
  13. There are only 4 teams left in the hunt for the last 2 wildcard spots, us, the Giants, the Bucs/Falcons, and the Seahawks/49ers. What is interesting is both the combos, the Bucs/Falcons and Seahawks/49ers are battling for their division, and also play eachother once before the end of the season. Meaning who we compete for in the wildcard will automatically have 1 more loss than they do right now. 1. So if we beat the Giants twice we are minimum of 9-8 which would essentially eliminate the Bucs/Falcons except in one crazy scenario where the Falcons win all of their last 5 games, and the Bucs win 3 of their other 4 games. If the Falcons just go 4-1 we have the tiebreaker on them. 2. We couldnt mathematically eliminate the Giants, but it would be highly improbable for them. They would be 7-6, and we would have the tiebreaker, meaning they would have to win 3 of their remaining 4 games, including 2 against the Eagles, and a game against the Vikings. If we beat them twice, it means they would have lost 5 of 6(ignoring Eagles inbetween), not the type of team that typically goes 3-1 against 13+ win teams. If they dont win 3 of 4, then we are in the playoffs regardless of the Seahawks/49ers. 3. But lets say the Giants did go crazy and win 3 of 4, that leads us to the last competitor, the Seahawks/49ers. If the Seahawks lose their game against the 49ers, they drop to 6-6, and have to win 4 of 5 which is again very unlikely for a .500 team though they do have an easier schedule. Instead, if they go a more likely 3-2, it depends on who they beat. They could go from 7-5 in the conference to 5-7. If we ended up at 9-8 we would be 6-6 in the conference. We win that tiebreaker with 3-2 in common games vs 2-3 for them I believe. That leaves the 49ers. If the Seahawks get very hot, beat the 49ers, and win the division at something like 10-7 the 49ers start at 7-5. They would only need to win 2 of their other games(because they would beat us in a scenario we are 9-8, and thus win head-to-head). So the math checks out, highly unlikely for us to miss on both other playoff spots, with the biggest danger being the Seahawks get hot and take the division from the 49ers, and the Giants finish 3 of 4 including beating the Eagles and Vikings.
  14. Can we just stop using STs name for publicity every few months? I loved Sean Taylor, but at some point in time this team has to have a second player in franchise history to be remembered, and at the very least needs to stop just looking for excuses 2-3 times a year to invoke his name for money and sympathy. Definitely done with it. A normal franchise would have done a very classy memorial tied with the road renaming on the same day in one year.
  15. To be honest, he hadnt impressed me leading up into the last 2 weeks, seemed Gibson would get more yards on a carry because he just saw the holes better. But the last two weeks I think has been a huge improvement for him, along with his bruising style he seems to have started seeing the holes better and getting those extra yards BEFORE contact. Hopefully he can keep that up, will be special if he can. And to be fair he has the best excuse ever for it taking him a little longer to learn some things.
  16. Ah, theres the real Koolblue. Cute, make up a fake argument, name calling when you get called out on it. Real mature as usual.
  17. Oh, now its "a roll out". I was responding to "Heinicke almost literally can’t throw on the move" but way to go for that straw man.
  18. Well, if the D is going to get gassed for 15 yards a run its going to be a long day. Offense is going to have to put up major points to keep up with that.
  19. Absolutely clinical drive. Going to be hard to do that in the rain all day, but a good start Also, credit to Turner for calling the first play play-action. I was thinking before the game they needed to do that to set up the Falcons D for running all day.
  20. That certainly is why we were 2-4 without him and almost 5-0 with him and why pro-bowl players love him. The downside is due to this clutch play we have cost ourselves the top 3 draft pick we would have had.
  21. Fun Facts! Taylor Heinicke is 3rd in franchise history for QB rating(min 250 attempts). Taylor Heinicke is 3rd in franchise history for completion percentage. He is 2nd in franchise history in 4th quarter comeback percentage, behind only Jay Schroeder. He is 4th in franchise history in percentage of game winning drives, at 22%, behind Doug Williams, Brad Johnson, and Jay Schroeder.
  22. Theoretically, on paper, this should be another easy win as it has some similarity to the Texans. But theres no way that would be possible, so Im predicting a close one, something like 20-17. Falcons have one of the worst defenses in the league, but while their run game isnt good, its their pass D that is particularly bad. That should be enough for the offense to make headway. Offensively, they are also very bad, but its their passing offense that is terrible. Basically, the key to this game is the offense taking advantage, and the D holding the run and not allowing big plays. With Pitts also out, shut down their run and they are in big trouble. If they are so bad on both sides of the ball, how are they 5-6? They have had the easiest schedule in the NFL this season.
