Est.1974
Great pick. Everything we’ve heard since the selection supports the move.
ClaytoAli
This thread took a bit to get created and is butt arse naked 8 hrs after the pick was announced. So telling. 😂 Edited April 26 by ClaytoAli
Drock_VB
A lot of hype. Hopefully he can stay on the field and become the franchise QB this team desperately needs. I’ll wait to pass judgement on this pick. Edited April 26 by Drock_VB Fat thumb

So telling. 😂 Seems things are a little flat in general after what looks to be a pretty non-flashy 1st round, with no real out-and-out shockers that I’m aware of. As for the JD pick, I was more a Maye fan admittedly but I’m glad it’s done now as it was exhausting seeing an absence of middle-ground amongst posters at times leading up to things and hopefully for those who are really down on Daniels, and by extension the FO, come close of play Sunday there’s greater optimism on the back of the rest of the selections.

Peters glowing comments about him made me feel much better. Also seeing Daniels not wanting to be too good to continue to get better was outstanding, definitely not an RGIII trait. WOW!!!!!!!! Using such an awful bust as comparison is immensly disheartning and really makes me question his ability to scout QBs. He was talking about running ability, not passing ability.
Redwolves92
Amazing how years later we draft another qb at 2 who is as electric as rg3, wore the same suit and kinda looks like him too lol. Our redemption story. Hopefully he stays healthy, this guy can sling it into tight windows and run like a cheetah.

Or maybe it is that impending sense of dread when you know your organization has been fleeced again. Somehow this collective has threaded the proverbial needle and found the only human being in the draft that encapsulates the worst attributes of Haskins and RG3, neatly rolled all that into a frail looking E.T. body. The best this fanbase can muster is some type of blind allegiance to "Adam Peters". Was anyone else concerned that the other teams had legitimate looking war rooms and the Commanders team looked like they were operating out of a Red Roof Inn? Why is Doug Williams still wandering around aimlessly? I admit I am legitimately concerned for the young mans health. Lil Jay seems to already have communication issues, often preferring to express his true feelings through his mommy and his agent. I can't even fathom what will happen when the massive CTE sets in after he is ragdolled at TJ Watt at Fedex Field. What is even more embarrassing is watching these stooges take a victory lap while the rest of the NFL laughs, knowing we were the only organization dumb enough to buy in. The Patriots could not believe their luck and were at the podium before ESPN finished their requisite self aggrandizing for fooling the Commanders into thinking this was the prize. The Wise Man Prediction: Bust, Broken, or Traded By Year 4. Sorry friends. Isn’t there a separate thread for parody posts?

I mean, WTH. I’d give honorable mention to Dotson and Howell, but then who? Saadiq Charles? Dax Milne? Yikes. The good news is the people responsible for those draft picks are all gone. We have a new braintrust in Washington now. We have to give them time to put their stamp on this team. They've only had one draft pick so far. 😊 2 3
