I love trading down in the draft even when you have a top pick. There’s never a guarantee that a top pick pans out over time. That’s why I like trading down for more picks. It’s a numbers game. More quality picks mean there’s better chance at finding those guys that pan out. But this year is different. We have plenty of top 100 picks that I don’t feel the need to trade down. Peters has done a great job thus far in my eyes. still want Harrison Jr though 🤣

I know the need for a QB is high in DC, but dang , I’d love them to take Harrison in this draft. I think he’s going to be a stud. This team is not going to build a winner in one offseason. I think Harrison could be a huge factor in making this team great for years to come . I Just don’t think it’s wise to pass up on this guy.

That’s what I’m thinking. This team has needs all over. Why pick a QB when you can’t protect him? It’s a recipe for disaster. We need picks, picks , and more picks. there are no guarantees with any player in the draft. It’s a numbers game. Health, injury, personal problems, failures to play up to status….. anything can happen. Load up on picks , Scout well , draft for needs, and see what you got at the end of the year.

I’d like to keep our current QB situation and trade down for more picks. Not going to turn this thing around in 1 year. And who knows, maybe we can get our guy in later rounds. Plenty of non first round top tier QB’s around the league. Drafting a top sure fire QB sounds great, but this franchise will ruin him under the current state of the team . There are way too many needs on this team. Priorities need to be centered around the O-line. Without that, anything this team does is futile. imagine having a dominant offensive line and being able to run the ball.

Films out on Howell now and they no how to defend him. Washington hasn’t been able to help him with game planing , in game adjustments, and play calling. JB looked pretty good, but what happens with him when teams figure out how to stop him. This franchise looks to be forever needing a QB.

Wonder what Brissett would look like at this point if he had been the starter all year. Almost 60 sacks and running for his life. Not sure he would be any better . The mental stress knowing it’s a jailbreak almost every snap takes it toll.

Josh Harris might be smarter than I thought by keeping Ron through the end of the season. It only helps us draft wise and he knows it?

Not really upset with losing at this point since it helps our draft status if we lose. I was hoping to see some good things on offense to give me hope for the future . Not seeing it .

He did have a 39 yarder before that play though . 😂

One draft isn’t going to fix the offensive line and the defense. Trading players or picks for more picks is a good choice IMO. But those picks need to be quality.

Finally understanding the whole “Riverboat” nickname. Has anyone ever won big on a Riverboat?

Don’t worry, they are going to look at the film and correct the problems.
