I'm not surprised that Hoffman and Paulsen would be trashy enough to try and blame Haskins in order to carry water for Rivera after he made such an obvious mistake.  But I would think the claim that it was actually O'Connell who turned us down because he didn't want to tie his coaching fate to Haskins is horse**** based on the simple observation that clearly no one's coaching fate was ever tied to Haskins.
