Feds: Catonsville man failed to pay taxes, set up PAC to infer support for former President Trump

Federal authorities charged a Baltimore County man with failure to file federal income taxes on allegations that he took advantage of supporters of former President Donald Trump.

Ian Richard Hawes, 32, was charged in U.S. District Court this week with one misdemeanor count of failure to file his 2016 federal income tax return.

According to court documents, Federal Elections Commission paperwork and the internet archive, Hawes set up a political action committee called American Horizons in the spring of 2016. The documents state the PAC raised more than $1.1 million from thousands of donors over eight months by allegedly dangling the prospect of dinner with "the candidate" the PAC was supporting, Trump.

But there was no dinner with Trump or anyone else, federal officials claim, and the PAC made no political contributions or political ad buys.

Federal officials contend Hawes spent $440,000 to advertise the PAC on Facebook and $375,000 more on himself, from paying off personal credit card debt and student loans to allegedly renting a yacht, taking vacations and buying a car.

Trump's Truth Social CEO Whines that Shareholders in His Alt-Twitter Scam Are Being Wiped Out

The single most unifying characteristic of the cult of Donald Trump - aside from the brazen and shameless lying - is their pathetic penchant for victimhood. For people who relentlessly brag about personal responsibility and inner strength, they sure cry a lot about how persecuted they are by everyone who is out to get them.

Among the worst dispensers of this dreary disposition is former GOP representative - and current CEO of Trump's Truth Social - Devin Nunes. Ever since he resigned from Congress to head up Trump's pitifully failing social media scam, Nunes has done little but complain that the platform that he and Trump launched to avoid what they falsely perceived as censorship has been suppressed by the forces of the "Deep State," radical liberals, and George Soros.

On Friday Nunes visited Newsmax to swing open his tear ducts with mournful moaning about the catastrophic business for which he is the chief executive. Nunes complained bitterly about...

I like this strategy of the maga-base of the gop. Be so despicable in your impotent and churlish culture wars that you significantly cripple the brand to the degree that even all the voting shenanigans you're able to pull off, and no matter what degree of perverted unity red states share,  you'll still end up the most thoroughly despised and minimized demographic of the nation.

Bud Light did not call its critics ‘crybabies’ on a billboard | AP News

The reality is the person responsible for the Mulvaney beer can has been let go. You can read between the lines.

Marketing executive behind Bud Light’s partnership with trans influencer has taken a leave of absence (msn.com)

  • The executive behind Bud Light's partnership with a trans influencer has taken a leave of absence.
  • Alissa Heinerscheid has been replaced and the Bud Light's marketing has shifted, according to reports.
  • The move comes after Bud Light's partnership with Dylan Mulvaney sparked calls for a boycott among conservatives.

The Bud Light marketing executive behind the brand's partnership with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney has taken a leave of absence, according to reports.

Bud Light said it would replace Alissa Heinerscheid, who had been the company's vice president of marketing, with Todd Allen, the global vice president of Budweiser.

In a statement to Insider, an Anheuser-Busch spokesperson confirmed Allen's appointment and said the brand is streamlining its marketing team so that its most senior executives are more involved in all brand activities.

Now I want a South Park episode where some butt plug manufacturer expresses support for LGBTQ+ and conservatives males boycott, then Mr. Garrison creates his own anti-woke butt plugs and sells them for 5 times the price. Everyone would tell them how dumb they are and how none of this makes any sense at all. And they stage a mass protest, called a 'Sit On' lead by recently fired Tucker Carlson who they all cry 'They took his job!' for while they protest.

I want them to pass more laws, its the best weapon we have. One of the reasons why prohibition was such a failure (besides the fact that sobriety sucks) is because it was a stupid law that nobody followed, was barely enforced and when it was enforced was very unpopular. When the government passes laws that the people don't want to follow, so they just don't, it makes it easier for the people to ignore other laws they also don't like following. Now, I know it might just be a pop star/rapper dancing on stage with drag queens, but it could also be the spark Tennessee needs.

They can make an episode in a few hours, it'll be on tonight and their lawyers will be paying you a visit tomorrow.
