So how do you guys think Biden will handle Trump going all in on the Hunter Laptop situation at the debate?  He’s going to and has already said as much.  He’s pinning his hopes to another “but what about those emails” scandal.  It’s one thing to ignore the stories spreading on right wing media, but a misstep here will make the story explode.  
 

Everything about the laptop situation stinks to high heaven and I think Biden has been wise not to comment, lest he give the story more attention, but he’s going to need to have  some kind of response at the debate.

I don't follow the scandal about Hunter Biden's laptop.  Is Trump insinuaton he got jobs because he is Biden's son?  

 

The Hunter Biden who has a JD from Yale, went into banking and investment and in spite of a drug addiction has had a successful career, if you believe Wikipedia?  I think he is doing fine professionally and to insinuate he is getting favors seems ridiculous. 

 

People are acting like Hunter is a bum... oh and this is based on stolen or hacked information no less.

I do think that being a Biden may have helped Hunter get the job, but the man is obviously qualified. Trump has no strategy, no path to victory, he has the same "plan" as four years ago. This is literally the same email scandal as four years ago which was also a nothing burger. It seems like the majority of Americans aren't buying it, not to mention so many have cast their votes already.

First time he mentions it:  "I'm just admiring the sight of Donald Trump pretending to be outraged at the thought  of a politician's son being given a job he's supposedly unqualified for."

 

Every time after that:  Smile and shake his head.

I think most people with only a few exceptions have already made up their minds this time. They either buy into it and were with trump to start or they are not buying it as it's just more BS from trump, especially as he is losing. Kind of a fool me once....

 

I am sure Biden will have an answer. They know it's coming. He will get on that message and stay on it. Doubt it will change anyone's minds unless he looks completely lost. But again, I think they will have him prepared. If they do not, then shame on them. 

 

I wonder what the moderator will do when trump comes out from behind his dais and goes over to biden when his mic is turned off. Yelling at him and being his bully self. With his mic off I expect him to just yell louder. Will be interesting to see how biden handles it. Again, if the prep team is smart they will have him prepped for that. You know trump will be going scorched earth. **** the rules.

for one it involves their idea that a drug addict or an alcoholic can simply not function in their life. That if Hunter struggled with drug addiction that meant he was useless in his professional career and spent his days scratching his neck and driving around cheap hotels looking for meth. Basically what they’ve seen on TV. 
 

the next issue is that they don’t actually have any smoking guns in the emails showing anything connecting Biden. It’s the appearance of corruption. They are creating an allusion so that when they connect dots that simply aren’t connected, the morons will go along with it. And they are. 
 

for example, an email to Hunter thanking him for the opportunity to meet Joe. Nothing about that email confirms he met Joe or even if he did what the meeting was about. Yet, in their world it’s proof of corruption and pay to play. 
 

Now they also have a scraggly signature that looks like Joshua Wilson from

the FBI signed a warrant regarding the laptop. there is also a Josh Wilson that is a child porn expert at the FBI so that’s how we get headlines in right wing media “FBI assigns top child porn investigator to Biden laptop” And you let that marinate for 36 hours and then when you start telling people that there are 20,000 photos of Hunter raping and torturing Chinese kids on the laptop, they believe it.

Trump is not going to call Hunter out for getting a job. It’s going to be much worse. He’s going to say he was paid illegally by the Chinese, Joe got kickbacks, it’s all coming out now, very nasty, the FBI says it’s very nasty. You wouldn’t believe the things crooked Joe has done with his crackhead son. It’s true, look at the FBI report.. And then he’s going to play dumb and say something like “and now I’m even hearing about child porn being on the laptop” because throwing it out there will be all millions of people need to hear

In the event that happens, the Debate Commission has changed the rules to allow Kristen Welker to karate chop Trump in the throat.

I imagine Biden will say something like:

 

"I'm proud of my son. He  has been very successful in his career. Intelligence agencies independent from President Trump have concluded that this conspiracy theory is the work of Russia, who used the President's compromised personal attorney to funnel this nonsense to the American people, so I'm going to address you, the American people. The President doesn't want you to vote. This story and the actions of Trump's people are an embarrassment to our electorate and your intelligence as American voters. Please use your voice to reject this sort of action. I have made it a point not to attack President Trump's children for their involvement in this failed Presidency, because I feel like you deserve a better President that is capable of being Presidential and representing all of you and the best of America.
