Trump and his cabinet/buffoonery- Get your bunkers ready!

Trump's walk, right leg. It's a symptom of something neurological. I sometimes walk like that when I am really tired, it's a result of the stroke. He's had something go very wrong with him, late night visit, really weak schedule, his appearances limited in time and scheduling, mostly watching TV and tweeting, things he can do sitting down and away from a lot of people.

Has anyone asked Barr directly who these "federal agents" are, specifically if they are actual gov't employees or private mercenaries, and what is their chain of command, who do they answer to, what are their rules of engagement etc etc etc.....

From what i can see, the GOP has controlled the narrative of this oversight hearing making it solely about the protests and Trump's Law & Order whatever.

Democrats are always a step behind.

That is the downside to these hearings, when you have half the officials (regardless of political persuasion) not interested in actually being constructive with their time it becomes very easy to steer the hearings in a different direction in unison with the witness.

In my alternate reality, as the Barr testimony closes, an announcement is made:

"After committing twenty acts of perjury under oath, Mr. Barr, you are under arrest and will be escorted to a prison cell where you will sit until you are tried. Sgt. of Arms, if you would escort the attorney general."

Upon hearing this, Representative Jordan announces he can no longer lie about being aware and a participant in the sexual abuse scandal and will as of this moment resign. Gaetz simply disappears in a puff of brimstone, leaving a turd of hair gel.

He said they are the US Marshals.

Always. Even some of the more petty moments.....Gym talking over Nadler like a child should make Gum look like a child but Nadler has no idea how to handle him. It’s honestly a little embarrassing.

I say it all the time but if the other choice wasn’t pure evil I would actually not want to participate and vote for any of them.

i wish i could transport barr directly to another time and place and setting with a sign around his neck saying "this one's next"

i realize i also need to imagine someone laboring hard to amass a sufficient stockpile of signs :P

That's why you have to go back...

Waaaaay back...

"Kick Me!" sign, you guessed it...with a slap on the back. 😉

Barr is doing a pretty awful job defending the accusation of him applying a different set of rules for Trump vs. Everyone else.  Not that it will matter to most people.

I would have liked to have heard this line of questioning:

"How many Federal cases have U.S. Attorneys prosecuted during your time as Trump's Attorney General?"

(It's about 60,000 a year.)

"And can you provide this committee with a list of ANY cases, out of the thousands that U.S. Attorneys prosecute, where you personally stepped in and overruled them? Other than, of course, the Stone and Flynn cases."

[Stammer stammer.]

just watching the orange idiot-pig doing one of his mindless nutjob spewing sessions on his way to the chopper...it's a particularly humiliating one for usa history, if that's possible, and for all decent hominids

without apology, if they can't or won't change (appropriate disclaimer), i wish only the worst of political and social outcomes for him and everyone who supports him

This could obviously go into any of the threads about this guy but here it is. Him saying that he thinks the Russia bounty stuff is fake news and he didn’t say anything to Putin about it.

This is basically Benghazi now right?

that's not how you do it, llevron...it's like this

BENGHAZI!!! 👹

one of the great political clown shows brought to you by the perpetually corrupt, lying, nutter, ****-for-brains gopers from chavez to cotton to gowdy to mcconell and everyone who voted for such worthless dishonest self-serving career-building meatsacks "becuase they're better than the dems  in every way"

and the dems certainly do have more than a few of their versions of the same kind of opportunistic dissemblers and ideologues in their gang, the level of dysfunction just not being nearly as pervasive and pernicious as in the gop body...much the same with the respective constituencies, logically enough, imv

i don't like even the appearance of "defending dems" as a whole and as a routine....the dems can be, often are, riddled with almost every broad (though not nutter) criticism made of them....and yet they're still so much better by any decent, sane, informed, standard, overall, as a group/party across their sociopolitical range, than the increasingly (now terminally) toxic cesspool the gop has manifested the last 50 years and up to its current culmination in trumpland

the usa's political body needs an enema and the excrement needing to be removed is the gop :)
