justice98
Hall is supposed to cover the other team's best WR right? Well Maclin lit us up today and Andre Johnson had a good game Week 1 as well. not saying it's all on Hall, because I'm sure it isn't, but he hasn't been that great this year. He's aging. Yet, Hall's only 30 years old. He's still, theoretically, in the prime of his career. Not a lot of prime left, but prime nonetheless.
MEANDWARF
Not throwing the Towel or trying to be doommish, but after losing our starting qb and cover corner I will be pleasently surprise if we get remotly close to .500.

Tsailand
Hall is a turnover machine. He wants the ball in his hands and is always looking for a way to make it happen. Damn shame.

MEANDWARF
I have never heard Hall described as a cover corner until just now. Well, he was the closest one to it we had. Sadly as old as he is, this could be his career.
Conn
Damn it. Really hope his rehab goes well because he's been a great Redskins and I'd hate to see him go out this way. Tough injury for anyone to come back from.
NickyJ
Hall = most under appreciated player in my life as a Redskins fan. People have a love/hate relationship with him. He locks down Dez, he's a hero. He doesn't cover up a poor play by a safety, he's a goat. There is no middle ground in the land of the Redskins fans. nuposse87
He's a lightning rod of a player. You probably either hate him or love em. I appreciate his service as a player. This will probably be a career altering injury for him. I thank him for having to go through some rather miserable seasons with us. Hopefully he can still be the defenses emotional leader. Voice_of_Reason
Every year we lose someone or 2, every freaking year. Said every team ever.
bowhunter
I'm sure that Dez is rejoicing at the moment. D.Hall seemed to always take him right out of the game. It's a shame. GodSpeed DeAngelo, prayers for a quick recovery.
Dub70s
Well, he was the closest one to it we had. Sadly as old as he is, this could be his career. Said the same thing....he's not just done for the year....I think he's done in the NFL. He represented Deep Creek HS in Chesapeake, VA and VT well . NIKKI8
Reed & Cofield week one, Griffin week two and now Hall week three. I wishing now that they would have signed somebody other than the always injured Tracey Porter, but I'm sure they do too by now.
Going Commando
This could cause a leadership problem. Clark is going to have to take on more responsibility in the locker room. Three weeks in and already down four key starters. Injuries are close to derailing our season. That's a shame too, because Gruden looks like he can coach. BRAVEONTHEWARPATH93
We We'll see how great our already weak secondary does without Hall. I don't think some of you realize how big a blow this is. Maybe it will set in after Thursday. yeah even with Hall, our secondary is far from great. Not sure the point you're trying to make
skinsmarydu
Hate to see this happen. Wouldn't surprise me either if his career is done. I agree with kleese, probably most underappreciated Redskin. I hated all the stupid "passionate" penalties, but at least he cared & gave it all. Rufus T Firefly
yeah even with Hall, our secondary is far from great. Not sure the point you're trying to make Dito. Hall was greta last year, not so this year so far. Of course we're thinner without him, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to "see" the rest of the year to prove that wrong. DJD2
Sucks for Hall. I guess we get to see what Breeland has full time. He better gets his hands under control.
NewCliche21
Big thing people are ignoring is that we don't exactly have the best depth. This means more Biggers, and that's not good.

Rufus T Firefly
Is it too late to give Richard Crawford a phone call? Seems like there's a good chance he'll be brought back. Unless they don't like him at all, which I doubt since they kept around as long as they did.
Momma There Goes That Man
Hall has definitely declined this year. I was worried about him hitting the wall as he got older but hoping we would get one more solid year from him. This should be his last hurrah and it sucks to go out like this. He's been an excellent Redskin.
NoCalMike
The secondary, healthy wasn't even a strength of this team. Hall is Hall, who is a high risk/high reward player. Amerson looks better than he did last year but he still gives up a lot of catches where you don't understand why he is so far from the WR. Clark/Brandon Merriwether are average as a duo. Clark is just plain old and slow, you see that he is still fundamentally sound and makes solid plays but he is also physically to the point of being unable to cover the ground he used to. Brandon, well we know who he was when we signed him, for every good play he makes boneheaded plays.
