  1. didn't know he played QB.....according to ESPN. http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/cowboys/post/_/id/4744567/the-loss-of-orlando-scandrick-would-set-off-host-of-changes
  2. Ray Lewis spoke to the Wizards on Friday before Saturday's Game 3 to provide some advise on handling Wall's injury and playing through adversity. I guess that helped Nene wake up. http://espn.go.com/blog/nba/post/_/id/2957/shorthanded-wizards-get-pep-talk-from-ray-lewis
  3. From the game I saw tonight.....Atlanta is not a good team.
  4. Roy Hibbert is back and he traveled all night..... bah dum bump I know Nene is Brazilian but Hibbert was doing the samba in the paint hey!
  5. This is what will be on the menu for tonight!!! Draw the big man in so his big men can do damage……Let Hibbert play!
  6. Some wish they had gotten the earlier edition of this controller before XBox put out an update - feeling bad for this dude....but it's on him. Love this one:
  7. They are talking about the Pacers playing like they did in game 7 against the Hawks? I guess they failed to realize that the Hawks were a dejected team after losing a close out game 6 in Atlanta and were easy to dominate in game 7, plus not having to face Al Horford helped a lot. That's something the Wiz are determined not to let happen....they'll have to face Lady Gaga fans if this game goes to game 6, lol.
  8. Here's one of ESPN's writers that picked the Pacers to win the series in 5: Dub70s ‏@Dub70s 10h @bbdoolittle the Wizards are going to make a believer out of you! Bradford Doolittle ‏@bbdoolittle 9h @Dub70s Every game has me a little more convinced! Going to be working on a #Wizards piece tomorrow. Ha ha....I knew they were who we thought they were!
  9. No team rediscovers their mojo after showing up for one game. Wiz need to strike first and lead hard for a period. Talking about rattling the Pacers, that will put the fear back in them (Hibbert). This will happen.
  10. Mike Wilbon Said ‏@MikeWilbonSaid 15h "I don't think the Bulls are gonna drop ALL 3 games in this series in Chicago so I think it's gonna go back to Washington" #Wilbon 4/29/14 Haaaaaaaahaaahaaaa!
  11. Michael Wilbon ‏@MikeWilbonESPN Apr 21 when you hear analysts talk pacers, you should wonder, do they know them personally? I've spoken to the players a lot recently.#NBAPlayoffs What did he say then? So when you hear Michael WIlbon talk bulls, you should wonder, does he know what he's talking about?
  12. Wow, Gortat is struggling tonight. Thank God we are playing the Bulls.
  13. Found a nice breakdown of how Nene is handling Noah's defensive pressue....shoot over him.
  14. Classic post from a Bulls message board before Round 1 started: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1315994&start=220 "#222 Re: Playoffs Round 1: Bulls vs Wizards Series Fri Apr 18, 2014 12:10 am by doclinkin I will be really curious to see how opinions change based on this series. Both in these game threads and nationwide. It's interesting to see opinions formed based on little information, but forgiveable since this Wiz squad has had little nationwide coverage. So far I'm reading that Kirk Hinrich will be the key guard, that he should be able to match up with Wall that since he played with him briefly when Wall was a rookie he knows his game and ought to be able to keep up with him. Understanding that when Kirk was here in DC Wall didn't even have a jumpshot, but now has been hitting 40% from three since the ASB. Feel free to duck under the pick if you want. By all means. I'm reading how John Wall has no defense, you know, how atrocious his D is, despite being top 10 in steals per game, and blocking about as many shots per game as a notable defender like Jimmy Butler. And despite being lauded by players like Kevin Durant for his defense. I'm reading how Bradley Beal --who has struggled most of the year (until coming on strong in April)-- is somehow our 2nd most important player. And how Ariza's playoff experience and championship ring is irrelevant (when he is neck and neck with Gortat in a toss up as which is our 2nd most important player). Ariza's our most important defender (and will probably see time even defending Noah, getting inside his ballhandling and disrupting his passing) then Nene especially on mid-range or highpost bigs and in the P&R game where he may have a chance to help neutralize JoNo , then Gortat underneath (with 37 double doubles this year), then Wall with ball pressure and help defense and beating attackers to the spot to take a charge or trailing a play to erase a fast break with a chasedown block. Nobody here underestimates Chicago's experience, savvy, know-how and most importantly, coaching. For all that he looks like Batman villain The Penguin, Tommy Tippeytoe is a defensive evil genius and was a coveted coach for this squad since before we briefly stole him from the Leprechauns. He will coach the helloutta your squad and make the adjustments, in game, half time, crunch time and between games. I'll cede as true that you have more experience as a cohesive team, and have learned to win with what you've got despite injuries and the organization's subsequent attempt to tank mid-season by trading away a key player. Fans of the game respect the resistance to losing that that squad mustered up. JoNo is one of my favorite players because of his motor, motormouth, and being a motivated mother[shut-yer-mouth] with attitude. He'll be a fun player to hate this series. But we win, or leave you bloody, I think you'll have to cede that this squad may have had the better overall talent. I guess you're banking on coaching, synergy, and experience to carry you through, where we're hoping to get hot enough to overcome our coaching deficit and let talent make up the difference. Eh, who knows, I even give y'all the edge, but nevertheless I'll be truly interested to watch the perceptions change or even read your fans getting nervous or ****ing in game threads. Oh and if we manage to kick your ass a few times then naturally we reserve the right to gloat and lob some toldja-so's. Never know, it could happen. ============ Oh by the way, feel free to stop by our board and visit the Trolls thread, where if you're clever or funny (and not violating the site's TOS) you are welcome to incite, insult, and enjoy a little bit o' rude behavior."
  15. ESPN Writers still holding out hope for their pick: the Bulls http://tinyurl.com/kxxq6fv 1. Fact or Fiction: The Bulls are done. Dan Feldman, Piston Powered: Fiction. Five words: Randy Wittman versus Tom Thibodeau. Wittman has done well so far, but the deeper a playoff series goes, the more coaching matters, and Thibodeau is still the better coach. That gives the Bulls at least a fighting chance to adjust and overcome their 2-0 hole. Nick Friedell, ESPN Chicago: Fiction. The Bulls have too much heart and toughness to just roll over now. Thibodeau and Joakim Noah won't let them. But -- if they can't find a way to score late in games all the heart in the world won't matter. The Bulls are being reminded of a lesson they've learned before: Talent usually wins out in the postseason. Tom Haberstroh, ESPN Insider: Fiction. These two games have been way too close to call it for the Wizards just yet. The Bulls have blown two leads in the final five minutes of regulation. If Noah is healthy, I'm not declaring him or his team out of it. They're not done, but their backs are against the wall. Zach Harper, A Wolf Among Wolves: Fiction. It seems as though whenever we count the Bulls out of something, they catapult themselves back into the conversation and make something happen. They're not in a good position, but they've been resilient enough to persevere in the past. I don't think you can count them out just yet. Brian Windhorst, ESPN.com: Fiction. No series is over after two games. Indeed, history shows us that being down 0-2 is big trouble and having to go on the road with that deficit is usually curtains. However, the Bulls have traits that travel, such as defense and rebounding, and they have shown they can win on the road in the playoffs. The Wizards are now the favorite, it changes the pressure profile.
