I don't think he's an idiot.

He's trying to get the Trumpettes to vote for him as their second choice.

Interesting *long* thread about Weisselberg flipping. Mostly speculation, but Ahonen connects the dots using Weisselberg & public information to tie things together. He mentions the fact Cassidy Hutchison & Michael Cohen dropped TFG paid lawyers to then turn on TFG with new lawyers as the same thing Weisselberg is doing.

I forgot that Weisselberg faces more trials (Ahonen mentions 7) for crimes committed in TFG Org. Apparently, one of these trials is coming up with Weisselberg still sitting in Rikers Island (month 4 of his 5 months for the 12 year sentence) from his 1st trial. Ahonen speculates Weisselberg faces more serious charges (and sentences) in the remaining trials.

Weisselberg flipped on TFG Org and not TFG in his first trial. The assumption is he'll flip on TFG to save his own ass from the more serious charges he faces. If they have info on money laundering (which Ahonen speculates they do) within TFG Org they're all in some serious ****.

Ron knows that very well.

He also knows 70% of Trump supporters don't know that and 30% don't care. This provides him political cover, nothing else.

Constitutionally, he can't prevent extradition. See Heather Cox Richardson's Letter from an American today for the Constitution citation.

Keeping Dems on message is like herding cats. But if there was a time to do it, it's now.

Simple message from all of them needs to basically be, "The rule of law and our Constitution safeguard the rights of all Americans. Central to this is the right to a jury trial in criminal cases—a right that applies to every individual, including the former president. I won't be commenting further on this matter right now."

Don't go on Sunday goes to talk about. Don't do interviews. Let Cheeto Jesus and his folks go as hard as they can attacking everyone right now. There isn't a value in fighting back in public for something that is just entering a new phase.

Shall means shall, so you are correct.

Just thinking. I'm pretty sure that mug shots:

1). Can not include hairpieces or other cosmetics.

2). Are public record.

Although, my expectation is?  He'll try to flee, first.
