“butterflies”? Is he a starting QB or not? They obviously decided starting aggressive and putting some points on the board was the way to go against a team that is more explosive than them and healthier than them. And it’s not working yet due to mistakes, and I bet you’ll see them run more. But come on, we need to be at the point where we aren’t just hiding Heinicke’s nervous tummy ache if we’re gonna trust him. Better to find out now if you can trust him to come through when things aren’t perfect—let’s find out! Let him have the chance to be the clutch dude people say he is, so we can know where we are at with him as a talent. 
 

Look at that gutsy sideline throw he just had while getting hit—that’s the Heinicke magic we want to hang our hat on, if he’s for real, right? Let’s let him ball and not assume he needs to be coddled with a perfect game script to succeed. Because if he does then he’s not for real anyways and none of this matters long term.
