Ya know, even guys that don't have an arm can throw it pretty far if they get their weight behind it. They say that six fifths of the power of your throw comes from your ankles.

(This was in a John Madden voice)

This is actually a better post than you know. All NFL QB's can rip it when they can plant and throw. But you are going to be able to do that about 10% of the time. That is the reason an elite arm is special. On the run, off one foot or sliding in the pocket an elite arm can still rip it. Heinike cant. Hell, he cant even throw a deep out at this point.

Cutting Hopkins has nothing to do with Blewit being the "best kicker available to sign"  I have a hard time believing this to be true.  Is he related to someone in the front office or something?

The offense looks worse every week.  The defense has taken plenty of heat over the first 2 months of the season, but come on they only gave up 10 points in the first half.   This is on the offense that can't even get the ball in the endzone ever, every other pass is sideways for no gain or an incompletion.  Every time Gibson gets the ball he is running straight into the pile of players instead of just shifting to the left or right with a ton of open room to get yards.   It just looks like a sloppy undisciplined mess on offense every week now.
