The ref calls are not dismissible.  They are a major part of the problem. Along with everything else.

They can’t do anything about the OL right now.  But they have to give Wentz another shot against SF.  You just can’t try and win every game 17-15 because you can’t throw the ball.  Especially when you have a top 5 receiver in McLaurin, a top 10 (maybe top 5) RB in BRob (yeah, he’s not explosive but he’s SO good at consistently getting 5-6 yards), Samuel and Dotson.  They should be able to get 24 points per game with that group just rolling out of bed.  
 

Maybe it would get better with Wentz. Maybe not.  But this offense will score zero points next week in SF,  

 

Its probably not fair to put Wentz out there against that defense to get the snot beaten out of him.  But they’re not scoring with TH.  Not more than 10 points and maybe none.  (SF had a shutout 2 weeks ago and have allowed something like 14 points in second halves of games over the last 2 months.)

The PI is the legit ****, but yeah, most of the time they Ian't gonna throw that flag. 

 
They called a ticky tack penalty on Terry at a critical time.  Terry looked over and MOVED UP, then looked at the linesman again. It was a picayune call at a critical time.  So don’t tell me some bull**** about refs swallowing their whistles at crunch time. 
 

Piss poor, borderline call at a crucial time.  Then they ignore a blatant DPI.  Awful.

It does suck blaming the refs. But damn.. How do you have a professional referee watching that last play and be like "nah, that looks fine".. I mean he fouled him like 4 times in the 8 seconds it took to run the play? lol

Wears a bit thin mate tbh, every year we’re in this position and every year we moan about the refs, I’d take it as a given they are gonna be garbage. So don’t give them an excuse to have such an important swing on the game, execute our end and we’d have been fine, we didn’t and we lost

I honestly can't get over the 1st and 10 run to Samuel from the 11 after we have all the momentum and Robinson has been gashing them all night.

In both games the ref’s made major bad calls that gave giants advantage in both games!  That last non call in the end zone was down right discusting and inexcusable!  Yes. I’m freaking pissed

If you have even a passable offense then you can mitigate a few bad calls. Our offense is inept, and our QB sucks. We put up 12 points on a mediocre, at best, defense. If we had dropped even 20 points on them, those calls would be irrelevant.

 

So as I said before, Heinicke and the offense both suck, and there were also a couple of terrible calls. Both things can be true, and both things are.
