  1. I don't disagree, but "ouch"! Brutally honest.
  2. Good placeholder for when we have better options for the future of the position. Fun to watch. He'll get the ball downfield. And we know there won't be any character issues like we saw with Haskins. Glad they didn't settle for Darnold, Taylor, Mariotta, etc.
  3. Just curious... Have you worked up any preliminary logos for the Penis Scrunchies yet?
  4. Forgetting the Keanu Reeves aspect of this, the name Sentinels isn't the worst suggestion I've heard. They could run out onto the field to the intro to Judas Priest's "The Sentinel" which would be pretty badass.
  5. Isn't that pretty much the way the league generally works in the age of the salary cap anyway? I mean, you have a few really exceptional QBs who remain a constant and those teams just work hard to keep a decent supporting cast, and they stay consistent for several seasons. But there just aren't enough of those elite QBs for most teams to do anything but get out of the basement and be better than average, tread water and achieve some playoff success with a good QB for 2 or 3 seasons, and then see free agency and salary cap issues break it all down again. With the way this franchise
  6. A lot of people are forgetting something about Watson: the Texans don't have to trade him. He's under contract, and the new HC said he took the job with the belief Watson was going to be his guy. They could just stand pat and let him sweat. If he doesn't show up to camp in the summer, they can fine him.
  7. But neither one is very good. If it came down to Carr or Marriota vs. Allen or Heinicke, I'd prefer to stick with our guys. Carr had one outstanding season, got hurt, and hasn't been the same. Marriota washed out in TN.
  8. Gotta say, I don't like these jerseys at all. I'll like them even less if it means we won't be wearing our original jerseys as an alternate anymore.
  9. Probably going to get slammed for this, but my wish is that fences can't be mended in Green Bay, and somehow Aaron Rodgers becomes a WFTeamer. I know it has virtually no chance of happening, but I like the idea of it as much, if not more than, reading all these posts about Stafford or the various college QBs not named Lawrence. Of course, there's nothing very attractive here for Rodgers other than our defense could make us a contender with the addition of a legit starter at CB and a rangy tackling machine of a MLB who plays like London Fletcher did. But Rodgers would bring tons of playoff expe
  10. Tyrod, as in Tyrod Taylor? I guess you are from the Jim Zorn "stay medium" school of football strategy. I'd rather go all in for Stafford, or go with an unknown commodity in the draft, or give Heinecke a shot at the job before bringing in a JAG like Tyrod, a journeyman whose not done much in his 10 seasons in the league.
  11. Off the top of my head, I could only think of Jim Plunkett.
  12. Not sure what "ball out" means, but if it means "take his team to the Superbowl" I'll have to disagree with you. I don't see any of those guys getting to the Superbowl playing for any team.
  13. Hopefully the competition committee will take a look at it this offseason. But it's not like we see it a lot.
  14. They can be stupid, but can't fault the refs for calling it if that's the rule.
  15. Maybe TB watched footage of Young's lackluster performance against Clemson...
