Because our man coverage scheme puts our LB on the final #3 receiver a good portion of the time. So teams manipulate route combos and formations to draw our ILB on their better receivers. For some reason we don’t want to roll our safeties down and play man, I’m guessing because our coaches want them deep to prevent the deep ball, but I’m not sure what the deal is there that close to the end zone unless we blitzed. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
