You're right about that against this team, but also it’s 2021. You need to be able to score more than 20 points and beat teams who score more than 20 points against you, every new rule the past decade+ has been geared towards creating higher scoring games.

People wonder why Daniel Jones continues to look good against this defense, because soft zones are extreme easy for QBs to make completions against when there is no pressure.  They are fundamentally designed to not even cover the players themselves.  Jones can just stand there wait for a WR to run to the empty space of field, sit down and wait for the ball.
