cakmoney61
Heinicke gives the team life and hope. The second half could be interesting.

He is not good and he’s extremely limited. His only potential trump card is his above average mobility, and if he uses it he’s dead within two games. He has possibly a weaker arm than Colt McCoy and doesn’t lead guys open to make up for it. Or you're wrong and Heinicke is about to slaughter his enemies.
Hazel-Ra
I remember plenty of games ( some Week 1) where we had the lead going into the half and crapped the bed in the second. I’ll take a reversal of that and like it.

That’s… a real big deal. It's not that most efficient use of our talent. I don't believe the announcer. I was hoping they were incorrect, but have been waiting to see you posts more bc I know it’s bad news and speaks to a very passive mindset that wastes the talent of this DL. Fitz and Heinicke are both mediocre QBs. And we theoretically do have a stacked team, especially on defense with lots of talent at multiple positions, notably on the DL. The problem is that an elite QB can basically negate much of that because they know exactly how to beat defensive strengths, especially if they have a decent OC. We have a hugely talented DL and decent DBs but it hasn't mattered at all because Herbert is going through his reads and getting the ball out fast and on time and very accurately. We're not going anywhere until we find our QB of the future. Most likely we'll be a 8-8 or 9-7 type team most years with a good defense.

DefinitelyMaybe
Brilliant under pressure from D - Hop Now’s not the time to be discussing Cam, let’s take stock on Fitz Injury and get behind Heinicke, he’s got the ability we’ve seen it! Big opportunity for the boy

NoCalMike
Coming out in the 3rd with the ball I hope they don't forget that Gibson was doing well rushing the ball. Besides the one play where he slipped he was getting good yardage on most rushes. Don't go away from him too much just because a new QB is in the game. mammajamma
Need to go all in on upgrading our oline through free agency, or need a completely mobile QB for our offense to work. Same exact team as last year, hurt QBs and all

Burgundy Yoda
Sam Darnold is nearly on pace for a 500 yard passing game. Wish we had someone like Joe Brady calling plays for us. CobraCommander
I've cooled down a bit. Defense is not good enough, offense is bad. Saving grace is the unlikely Special Teams. Kudos to them.
