I'd be fine going and getting a hammer that is a one trick pony, but he's got to be decent at it. Personally I'd look for more of a 3 down back type. Personally Id love to see a Mike Sellers type of runner for short yardage who also is a monster on special teams, like an old style wedge buster! I take this as a blessing. But I'm not optimistic about the team finding a good replacement. A good running back is one who knows his role, and completes it. Barber was a specialist who completed his role. He was asked to get 1st Downs, and to score points. Which he did. That is far more important than overall YPC, especially for someone with a very specific role. A RB only used in short yardage, is practically destined to have a low YPC. So the YPC actually is not even a surprise. He's not on the team anymore, so I'm sure most people don't have an interest in this topic. We have probably exhausted the topic and I am ready to move on.
