Gonna ruin the winter, too. Thankfully, there will be less of a need for others to go outside. Thanksgiving is gonna be interesting

Yeah, thanksgiving is going to be way different, with the Macy’s day parade being mostly virtual, and i cant even imagine how football will still be going on by then still. Going to suck.

Apparently people on a flight to LAX saw a dude in a jetpack.

If he's from the future, he picked a suckass time to jump back to

If someone actually did use time travel, it would likely be top secret AF and only used in worst case scenarios due to laws of physics, butterfly effect type possibilities.

Read once upon a time Stephen Hawkings threw a party and didn't tell anyone until after it was over to prove time travel wasn't real.  In theory, one form of time travel would've allowed it, but being brought back to where you started to close the loop would've been like you never left in the first place.

Tenet talks about reversing entropy, catching bullets that have already been fired type stuff.  I'm not convinced that's how we do it not we do it so blatantly that the very idea of time doesn't matter anymore. Maybe we collectively decide not to do it because we don't trust ourselves, which sounds like all the more why we will do it, honestly.

Its a shame we don't have a random sports trivia thread.  Anyway, here's one.  Below are the stats of four major league baseball players for the first 6 years of their careers.  The first full season for each was 1984, with the exception of one whose first full season was 1983.  With a couple exceptions, the stats are amazingly similar.  Guess which is which without going to any outside source (i got this easily from baseball reference).

Year     G   PA   AB       R    H    2B       3B      HR     RBI      SB     CS    BB     SO      BA  OBP   SLG OPS
1984-1989 924 4093 3844 542 1243 197 38 96 506 84 49 187 488 0.323 0.357 0.469 0.826

In Welcome To The Universe, they describe a couple mathematical models for theoretically plausible time machines.  One of which involved a rotating blackhole.  But each of the time travel methodologies that could theoretically exist had the same caveat; you can return to the time you entered and no sooner.

You should start one.  Your question is impossible tho. 😂  I was 3 in 1984.

I think the third one with all the HRs is Canseco?  Not enough SBs.  Maybe the first one is Canseco.

I think the bottom one is Eric Davis. Monster years for the Reds.

Edit nevermind..ED's first 6 years HR and SB stats are better.
