Bacon
Well, see you guys tomorrow. Hoepfully Corbin pitches the game of his life.
Metalhead
Wow....talk about massively disappointing. Terrible at-bats by Rendon were absolutely brutal.

StillUnknown
ball fell their way tonight, with some help from blue behind the plate. credit their pitchers for being houdini tonight Rendon had his worst collective AB's i've seen from him a very long time, he will be better tomorrow Astros are too damn good to think they wouldnt punch back eventually.
RemoveSnyder
Pro Astros broadcast is disgusting, in our own house no less.

purbeast
All gravy. I mean the Nats had so many chances. That **** won't happen again. 0-1 tonight. It's all good. I'm just CISED that I am at home now and didn't end up going down there lol.
Bacon
Have they stated who is going for Houston tomorrow?

bearrock
1-0 tomorrow. That's all that matters.
StillUnknown
Corbin can be a slow starter. Astros will be patient tomorrow, hopefully Corbin is sharp out the gates they're throwing a bullpen game tomorrow, but used alot of hands tonight. we got the bad AB's out the way tonight Edited October 26, 2019 by StillUnknown
Spaceman Spiff
On most nights, 9 hits get you more than one run. 0-10 with RISP. That won't last moving forward, but Rendon, for example, has to get his **** together. One pitch outs are ridiculous. Astros just too good not to get at least one game this series. Can't wait to watch tomorrow night.

Bacon
Reading a lot of comments tonight about the real fans getting priced out of the game. Sounds like all three WS games have had dead crowds.
Barry.Randolphe
Weird, the crowd didn't look or sound dead tonight on TV....they wanted to get excited about something, but 0-10 with RISP kinda kills the crowd

My thoughts exactly, the real Astros were bound to show up. Anyone comment on the crowd? All i heard was how crazy it would be when the series moved to DC but the crowd, especially at the start of the game, was really tame. That was very disappointing. purbeast
I mean the Nats scored 1 run what is there for the crowd to get hype about? The Nats had so many opportunities to blow the lid off of that place but came up short every single time. The Redskins fandom really shows with people starting to sound a little like Josh Norman in here.

Rex Tomb
It appeared that everyone was pressing and making some really boneheaded decisions. Won't happen again. Plus Sanchez wasn't his best.
bearrock
I think Nats got too much into thinking we have a chance to end this series last night. Don't worry about losing the advantage built up from the first two games and just focus on the present and now. Got two in the books, now go get two more.

ixcuincle
For anyone there yesterday the atmosphere was just hectic. It was like a million people packed into Navy Yard. No lie.

A solid chunk of the crowd will be STHs. Others will be diehards who really shouldn’t buy tickets but do it anyway without asking their wives 👀 I’m sure there are plenty of folks that are just there for the spectacle, but there are 44k people there and probably 75% of them have lived and breathed the Nats for a decade. Give us a good game, with a lead and runs scored, and the atmosphere will be fun.
