I know it's official because my Mother-in-Law has officially unfriended her daughter on Facebook because she's a "socialist". Her mother is a real piece of work and really not in our family anyways but it was just funny. At first my wife was upset until she gave her reason of socialism and then we had a big laugh about it and told her we have officially joined Antifa just to goad her.

“I have dedicated much of my adult life to public service, and I have always strived to do what is right. Please know that I came to my decision independently, based on the law and available facts. I was never directly or indirectly pressured by any Executive Branch official—including those who work at the White House or GSA—with regard to the substance or timing of my decision." - Emily Murphy

"I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols..." - Donald "It was all my idea" Trump

If fairness to the legal team, Trump's tasked them with an utterly ridiculous mission.  It's like asking Nic Cage to hold a press conference to announce to everyone he's going to steal the Declaration of Independence while wearing nothing but a thong and having his hair set on fire...and then actually trying to do it.

...that’s HIGH praise

I’ll believe it when I see it.

And I’ll never forgive the last three+ weeks of bull****.  Never.

I’m struggling to come up with a series of events that would ever allow me to consider the Republican Party in an election, much less actually vote for them

Unless the Dems somehow go down a similar path, I don’t really see it happening. And even then I’m struggling to figure out why I would vote for a Republican in that case.

they’ve lost a voter for life

(until the next time we get warren trying to push free college)

((haha I kid))

(((kind of)))

I'm more or less in the same frame of mind.  I do caveat it with if the person was always a never-trumper like Kasich.  This last election my first step of research was if the candidate ever supported Trump.  If so, they were automatically off my list.
