It's the same stuff that Republicans are doing with courts. They know their "policies" (insofar as they actually have any) are very unpopular with the general public and there's almost no way they can get them pushed through via traditional means (see Roe v. Wade). So they try and pack the courts and do it that way.

Republicans in 2003: Judges should never be legislating from the bench! It goes against the will of the American people!

Republicans in 2023: Judges should always be legislating from the bench! The American people can eat an entire bag of dicks!

Trump-aligned group publishes plan for 'biblically based' government

The right-wing Heritage Foundation is working on a plan that would impose "Biblically based" law on America through every layer of the executive branch under the next Republican president, wrote Steve Benen for MSNBC.

The plan comes from Project 2025, a right-wing vision Heritage has built for reshaping the federal government, and is laid out in a book entitled, "Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise."

As Benen noted, Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts states that the book aims to safeguard "our God-given individual rights to live freely against a 'woke' threat,'" and that, "Today the Left is threatening the tax-exempt status of churches and charities that reject woke progressivism. They will soon turn to Christian schools and clubs with the same totalitarian intent."

It probably shouldn't surprise me that a guy like Jordan Peterson sees a video of a whining, braying, loudmouth jackass like Mike Lindell and immediately thinks "real man".

The intensity of Peterson's insecurity about his own masculinity must be breathtaking, given how much time he spends desperately searching for external validation of it in the dumbest possible places.

Makes sense when you think about red states being the states that house the most prisoners per capita. I mean, who needs evidence?

If the GOP doesn’t like you, they don’t like you and you should pay. I think the list of people they do like are rich white christians and if you want to include the unborn as people, then them as well. Born? You’re screwed…

i was trying to come up with a comprehensive list, but I guess it ends at 2.

There’s no need for an inquiry; just have the vote.  It will be meaningless as, it will go nowhere in Senate.

Let’s have impeachment week; where each day they can impeach Joe.

Gop will be happy avenging their master with multiple impeachments of Joe. Might not be happy in November 24; when enough of them are voted out to give Dems a majority again,

Also, shut that government down baby. Since many of maga live on government checks thru social security, disability, etc..  they won’t take to kindly missing a check.
