How’d he vote on the tax cut? And on and on. You aren’t gonna get a 100% pure democrat from W. Va. I’d rather have Manchin than anyone GOP member in that seat. Purity tests are how to lose in the big picture At this point, not passing the “purity test” is a sign that your views and policies are outdated and you need to go the way of the dodo bird. A person who votes against the basic civil rights of half the country is unacceptable in the liberal party. To you it may not be a huge disqualifier, but at this point I am tired of people who will not stand up for hard-fought essential civil rights.
