Let’s talk about Trump derangement syndrome... it’s a term I’ve seen on here a few times recently. I assume it’s referring to the mental malfunction that allows people to think Trump is a great man & leader of men or even that this is no big deal & people shouldn’t be up in arms about the direction that the GOP is taking our country.

Ouch. Ya know... that's, that's pretty rough man. You went too far this time, not only insulting me but also taking a jab at participation ribbons which is something you knew I would feel very strongly about. I'm pretty busted up right now. If you came on here today hoping to make Sacks 'n' Stuff cry, well congratulations. Mission accomplished.

Throwing people off of rooftops?  I've seen videos of Muslims throwing gays off of rooftops please provide a link to videos of Putin pushing people off of rooftops in Russia.

It's balconies, and he has it done, doesn't do it personally. No videos (of that).

He doesn't do it personally of course.  Too messy. But being a threat to Putin is like living in living in Sandford and opposing the Neighborhood Watch Alliance.  The crime rate is low but the accident rate is so high.

I just thought it was ironic coming from someone who previously replied to a post about a political party dedicated to dividing the country with "You're talking about the Resist movement?"

He is not a communist, he may be a tyrant but he's not a communist.  I found it amusing when Putin lectured Obama on the failure of socialism.  I didn't know about his suppression of other religions until you mentioned it but here is the link:

If i were this oblivious to how many of Putin's enemies and / or journalists telling the truth about him ended up dead... i'd seriously start to question where I am getting my news..

You're old, like me.

You remember the Soviets, like me.

You would have no problem believing the KGB and soviets tried all sorts of nefarious things to disrupt this country, because they did.

You'd have no problem buying that the Soviets engaged in long term civic disruption via widespread and ingrained propaganda that toppled democracies all around the world. Places like Cuba, Nicaragua, and so on and so on. Because they did.

And yet now, in a single post, you say you know the man is a tyrant, but make light of how he handles opposition as if it doesn't happen... how he destroys something so important our founders made it the FIRST of our inalienable rights. "show me video of him pushing someone off a roof"..
You know what i've never seen? A picture of Hitler shooting anybody. Or stalin. Or Castro. Or Pol Pot. or any of them.  Obviously everything was just hunky dory.

I am sure all of this is simply a big box of coincidences, the former head of the KGB would never spend a lot of time on long term disinformation campaigns like the Soviets did (They worked, and who wants that? Probably not him.) . Especially now when technology allows for all sorts of awfulness to be done from anywhere on earth..  and is so easy to manipulate.  He'd never think to establish propaganda that ignores these coincidences and causes it's audience to make light of it. He'd never be involved in anything like that.
Except he is, and a disturbing number of journalists and political opponents of his fall off of balconies or get poisoned to death with easily obtained items like radioactive isotopes and other assorted stuff that former heads of murderous spy organizations might use. People who's names swirl around the Trump connection have died mysteriously around the world.

So why don't you know about it? What else is your chosen source of information not telling you?

You know what propagandists do? They tell you everyone else lies. First and foremost. Everyone else lies.

And here you are, seemingly finding out about what actually makes Putin the tyrant you say he is for the first time.

I would absolutely wonder these things.

Especially given the history of their long term disinformation campaigns. that apparently they just decided not to do anymore because hey, wall's down. Yippee skippy, glad that's over. All those KGB guys just went home and got subscriptions to Field and Stream, and sipped lemonade like the good losers they have always been.

I read the article.  It doesn't even claim Putin is responsible much less prove the case.  Maybe this is the work of Russian mobsters, I don't know.  As I have posted before and repeat here, I don't know if Putin is a real tyrant or somebody that is protecting a weak Russian government from a far worse and more dangerous tyrant.

Putin?  Never seen any proof.  (Heck, those Russian-speaking troops driving Russian armored vehicles and firing radar-guided antiarcraft missiles might have bought thousands of uniforms from army surpluss stores.)

But Hillary, now, we know she's guilty.

And Larry Kudlow on CNN calling Trudeau a backstabber and justifying Trump’s little temper tantrum instead of telling his dip**** boss to think of the country instead of his own fragile ego.  **** Trump, and **** Larry Kudlow.

And Jeebus Crisp, is Very Old School a Russian bot?

Putin is the Russian mob.  He makes or breaks all his oligarchs.  This is common knowledge among everyone who has any knowledge of how Russia runs.

And the "if you kill Hitler he just gets replaced with someone worse" counterfactual is not a valid reason to excuse bad conduct, especially if there is no outward indication that any worse entity exists.  Since you are woefully underinformed as to Putin's actions, I can perhaps understand why you might think someone else lurks.  If you actually understood what the ex-KGB officer turned everlasting President of Russia was, you wouldn't be concerned about some silly counterfactual that someone worse than Putin is there.

Putin is the worst.

He pulls all the strings in Russia.

Question, whi do you think shot down MH17?

I have simply nothing nice to say about non-millionaires who still support Trump and still believe he was a better option than Hillary, I won't say anything at all because I'm not sure how to say that continued support by non-millionaires even after all we've seen is anything other than an outright condemnation of the mental faculties. For them truth is dead, Conservatism is just an empty word, patriotism is whatever they believe. For decades this same exact group has blasted the idea of Postmodern relativism and yet now we find that they have fully embraced the philosophy as a guiding principle driven by their tribalism and an animosity that has been stoked for twenty years. At this point I'm nearly certain that if some thought that standing in front of an on coming train would somehow hurt liberals then there would be a line at every railroad crossing.

It's not like anybody told them any of that would happen.

And hell, it still might not. I know it sounds ludicrous, but you know, they might just decide they've got enough profit and ease up the prices.
