DogofWar1
I suspect he's gonna be a monster slot CB. Ball hawk is nice.
clskinsfan
I get Quinn is a defensive coach. But its time to get our rookie QB some help. Need to go offense heavy the rest of the way. 1

The guys I had over him were Suamataia, Beebe, Corum, and DeJean, but he was the next one after that, and there was no chance anyone would ever pick Beebe or Corum over him. I had him at 25th overall, so the value is +11 for where we got him. I had him in the same tier as Byron Murphy, and that Newton had a reasonable case for being IDL1. I think it's a good pick, and that IDL was being slept on as a big need. We have rotation depth at Edge, but zero quality rotation players behind Daron and Allen. Their snaps have been way too high throughout their careers, and it was going to become a major problem as they enter their late 20s. Yeah, I agree with you. A team taking Newton in the 15-30 range would have been justified. Mathis is going to get cut probably. Giving Allen & Payne some rest is a major need for us.
justice98
I'd have just kept the picks we had and taken Dejean. 3

Dark Acre
5'9/182? Why not just bring Darrell back outta retirement? He's already at the draft. That would've been hilarious. "With the 50th pick in the 2024 draft, the Commanders select, ME?" He couldn't wear his old #28 though, it's been retired. 1

Redwards
6 minutes ago, xxprodigyxx said: if he's a bust did we really help them? how can you really come to any conclusion 5 minutes after a pick is made...especially before we see what we do with our picks? how many cbs have the eagles drafted or signed from FA before this? how much of a tangible difference did any of them make? they got smoked the last two years. That's why it's the draft, man. We're talking about HELPING our opponent procure great CB prospect talent. We're not judging these picks as if these guys are HOFs or anything. We're giving our reactions to moves being made on draft day. I don't like helping our division rivals get a fantastic CB prospect. Not sure why that's hard to understand.
