It literally does have an impact on player growth, but the fans here don't get it. Pitt, Green Bay, New England, Seattle, all have great relationships with their fan bases.

We are known as a fickle fair weather fan base.

The script here moves to chicken or the egg, win first then have a great fan base. I'm aware the circle of thought we follow.

I do agree with this. Fans absolutely help with development. Support means a lot.

But those organizations are well run organizations. They have their ducks in a row. The Washington franchise has not been a good franchise in 3 decades.

A lack of structure, accountability, a plan of action are all reasons this franchise doesn't have the support of the ones that you named.

It is absolutely circular. If fans decided to blindly support things, you could see an uptick in development. But the inner workings will always catch up.

The franchise is starting down the correct path now, and I think it's in the right direction. But the damage has been done to some of these guys. Including Haskins. I am hoping he turns it around.

I am not sure if you're reading or not. He did flatten the route. You don't throw that ball into triple coverage... Tight triple coverage... While staring the receiver down.

You just don't.

I have not once said that the rep was perfect from the tight end. It was not.

And I am not jumping all over anyone. Haskins is having a very bad game. He has shown time and time again that he has accuracy issues. He was drafted too early due to his upside, but he is a third round guy due to how far behind he is mechanically. He was forced into duty in a mess of a franchise with a patchwork offensive line and a total lack of support.

I am confident in a different scenario he is a different quarterback.

But that doesn't change that Haskins is making mistakes. Big ones.

If you think I'm harsh on Haskins, you aren't paying attention.

I am just responding as much as I'm willing to analyze that one play. A LOT more football has been played to discuss.

Seattle had among the lowest attendance in the NFL. Patriots were about to move to St. Louis before Kraft bought them.

This team has been putrid trash for the most part for nearly 3 decades. Yet it is still top 10 valued franchise because of this fan base. We have always been fickle with the QB but never call us fair weather.
