Week 3: Prediction Thread: The Team goes to the Browns Dawg Pound

Browns have such a pretty big advantage offensively. I think the defense will get sacks and cause a few turnovers but it’s 2020 and it’s really hard to shut a talented offense for 60 min. OBJ and Hunt make plays when needed

Not to mention, they have playmakers on defense. We have a rec league offense

Browns 28

WFT 16

9-7

To win the division, yes. That'll will do it.

We won't come close to that. We'd have to beat the Giants 2x, Eagles again, Lions, Cowboys once, Bengals, Browns, and Panthers. That's 9 wins total. We aren't winning in Dallas on Thanksgiving. The Giant have won something like 8 of the last 12 or something like that--and we play so poorly, historically, in NYG, so sweeping them is a stretch. We have no idea where the Eagles will be the last week of the season. The Cowboys are beatable, sure. But they are FAR more talented than we are--all of our opponents are. We have a really good defensive line and Terry McLaurin right now. The Browns are really underrated, they're offensive weaponry is impressive. I really don't think we're going to beat them. We are a very young team--NFL-leading 35 players on rookie contracts. Which means there are 18 players with more than 5 years exp on this roster. There will be letdowns, there will be inconsistencies. If we play well, we win 6, at most.

I’m not sure he’s there at 3.

Of course it's early but I got the Jets taking Lawrence #1 and if Carolina is picking 2nd then Bridgewater **** the bed and they'll take Justin Fields.  I think WFT gets in there at 3rd if they can lose out to NY.  Jacksonville and Miami trail WFT.  It will be close because they got Carolina and PHI at the end.  Could get him if they don't win more than 4 IMO.

How is this a must win?

Well, because if we lose, we’re 1-2. We can pretty confidently say the ravens will demolish us next week, then making us 1-3. After that? The rams. 1-4.

not that easy to come back from a 1-4 record, especially with a young QB in haskins, and a young, inexperienced team.

Browns DE Olivier Vernon (abdomen) was ruled out for Week 3 against Washington.

It's the second straight game Vernon will be forced to miss. Adrian Clayborn (hip), Vernon's direct backup, is also questionable for Sunday after totaling one sack and a quarterback hit on 18 snaps against Cincinnati. Either Porter Gustin or Joe Jackson will get the nod if both Vernon and Clayborn are ruled out.

Browns CB Greedy Williams (shoulder) was ruled out for Week 3 against Washington.

Williams returned to practice this week but was ultimately ruled out ahead of Sunday. Denzel Ward (groin) is also listed as questionable after suffering an injury in Thursday's practice. Terrance Mitchell and Kevin Johnson project to start with either Tavierre Thomas or M.J. Stewart if both Ward and Williams are out Sunday.

Browns CB Denzel Ward (groin) is questionable for Week 3 against Washington.

Greedy Williams (shoulder) has been officially ruled out. Ward suffered a groin injury mid-practice on Thursday and was unable to participate during Cleveland's final practice. If Ward and Williams are both out, Terrance Mitchell and Kevin Johnson would likely be responsible in covering Terry McLaurin and Steven Sims on Sunday.
