Is there a mirror site or go-to website for info and updates when the forums go down?  In the past two weeks or so they have gone down for a little while for me.  I always assumed it was temporary and didn't panic, but not going to lie it would be nice if there was a resource location to get updates just in case it happens for longer than usual?

I came close to getting in a fight at the bar tonight.  Talking **** about LeBron to a fellow patron pissed off some millennial ****.  It was wierd to begin with, we were at a table, waiting to move to the bar.  The two guys that left, we moved in to the bar, millennial **** moves his beer to the left, where would be I was sitting.  Didn't see it moved,  assumed it was placed by bartender.

So, I moved his beer to the right of me.  After bashing LeBron with another regular, this guy gets butt hurt at an epic level.  Out of the blue he gets aggressive.  I say "calm down" and he is like " If I wasn’t calm, I'd have said **** to you when you moved my beer."

I apologized twice to the guy, he would not acknowledge either, just stared straight into the TV

I then whispered to my wife (she claims it was not a whisper, everyone heard it - her version - which might be the most accurate lol ) "I shoud bust this beer glass in that mother ****ers face."    Next thing I know, I calm the asshole down and we are talking/fist bumping/etc.

Could the guy physically curb stomp me?  yeah, but I fight dirty, so nope.............

GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

I difused the situation, had the guy talking to me, fist bumping, etc. Seriously though, mofo came close to me not being that nice guy.  He looked like some millennial ****tard that just needs a good throat punch.

He knew better..............let's leave it at that.

One of the reasons I don't go to bars.  One of the last times I went, some dude randomly stepped to me in a passive aggressive manner.  Hands down but balled in to fists, head tilted, angrily looking at me.  After asking him what the problem was several times while backing up...I told him to gtfo of my face.  My group split it up and we went our separate ways, but there was no reason at all for him to do that.  I was with my gf, wasn't talking to anyone outside of my group, was on my third beer.  So random.

On another note, I've been waking up at 4 AM to get a head start on the day.  Helps, but downtime has been cut even shorter.  Can't wait for the new work schedule.  Starts 2 weeks from now, but seems like it'll never get here.  So busy.

what!?  I quit drinking caffeinated coffee about a year ago, but still drink at least one decaf per day.

I was mixing the decaf hazelnut with the regular hazelnut for about a year.

I think the whole covid thing got me into some terrible habits that I have to quit. I got lazy, spent the last 8 months having more fun with my TV than I should have.

And I'm much more productive if I don't go back to bed with my coffee.

Not sure if my subconscious was trying to communicate with me in my dreams...

But my very first thought after waking up this morning was how I often call other people "cornball brother" when I'm in a Little House on the Prairie Facebook group.
