As I recall, Kinison was driving a 1991 Pontiac Firehawk...a limited production, high-performance Trans Am that did not have airbags. One of a very few models that were legally available at the time without them. The accident was low-speed but it was head on. And Kinison wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. I dont wanna hear my favorite artist do the 8 millionth rendition of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, which will be no different than the 7,999,999 versions before it. Such a waste.
