Conn Posted August 11, 2017 Share Posted August 11, 2017 Don't really like CT being out there...he's technically our 2nd-3rd RB on the depth chart but really he plays a specialized passing down role...one that we really need to keep Kirk upright in the regular season. No need to risk him much in preseason when he's a vet who knows what he's doing, he's had injury issues in the past. Let us see how Perine handles the passing game and get some of those reps. You can't play Kelly for a couple of runs, then take him out and bring in someone else. You can't get anything going that way. But that is how preseason works.
