Republicans KNOW there is voter fraud, so who better to help find it than somebody who keeps committing voter fraud? He clearly knows how it's done, so he can help catch those evil Democrats who keep cheating but are never caught (somehow). It's like how Republicans keep voting for pedophiles so that those guys can catch all those evil Democrat pedophiles.
tshile
I said this a while ago but… the level of projection with republicans is so obvious and apparent, makes you wonder about all that baby blood drinking for ever lasting life stuff they were going on about a few years ago …. 1 2

China
Conservative revolt in House alarms Senate GOP Senate Republicans are growing increasingly concerned with the antics of House conservatives as they paralyze business in the lower chamber with key legislative battles looming in the coming months. Eleven conservative members blocked a handful of messaging bills from reaching the House floor for votes last week — and vowed to keep doing so — effectively grinding the chamber to a halt over Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) handling of debt ceiling talks last month. This is giving Republicans across the Capitol agita as they brace for it to be a preview of coming attractions. Lawmakers still need to pass government funding bills, the farm bill and the annual National Defense Authorization Act, among other things, in the near term. “They’re going to have to sort it out over there. Maybe there’s some bruised feelings. … There’s a lot of governing to do,” Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), a former House member, told The Hill. “If you’re just going to pull the lever for the sake of pulling the lever — yes or no — as a protest, there’s too many important things out there that we need to have addressed with thought.” Nevertheless, some Senate Republicans are dismayed by what happened last week with their House counterparts. Adding insult to injury, there is no indication yet that conservatives will yield and allow the House to continue to conduct its usual business when members reconvene on Monday. Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), a former House member who is a frequenter of the House gym during work weeks, laughed openly when asked about the House’s issues and shook his head before likening their actions to those of his grandchildren. “They love attention, and they behave well when you’re giving them a lot of it. And then as soon as you’re done giving them attention, they get mad and you’ve got to give them more attention,” Cramer said. “I’m not sure some of them understand the magnitude of their responsibility, quite honestly. There’s a group of them, evidently, who didn’t want a Republican Speaker. They wanted a Republican king.” Click on the link for he full article

GhostofSparta
Oh no, the Crazy Caucus might prevent the Farm Bill from passing? Damn, I guess those farmers will just have to live without the socialism they claim to hate and vote against other people getting. Oh well. (Yes, I know that this will have a horrific impact on food prices, especially for the poor. But maybe those crazy farmers might see that voting to hurt other people sometimes hurts them. Leopards and faces and all that)

If the Republicans were interested in actually getting anything real done, they'd reach across the aisle and talk to the Democrats rather than the treason caucus.
China
Republican official appears to have moved $1.3m from non-profit to own law firm RNC committeewoman Harmeet Dhillon takes $120,000 salary from non-profit Center for American Liberty for two-hour week The San Francisco lawyer Harmeet Dhillon is a fixture on Fox News who has garnered support from the likes of Matt Gaetz, Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham; she also helms a non-profit that appears to have directed more than $1m into her law firm, Dhillon Law Group. Dhillon most recently made headlines when she signed on to represent Carlson in a gender discrimination lawsuit he and Fox News face from former producer Abby Grossberg. She also acted as an attorney for Donald Trump and former Project Veritas head James O’Keefe, who in 2021 sued Twitter for banning him. Last November, Dhillon was able to mount a serious challenge to Ronna McDaniel for chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC). Archived snapshots of her campaign’s official website touted endorsements from elected officials such as Gaetz and conservative media figures such as Carlson, Ingraham and Jack Posobiec. The Evil Genius
The thing with Newsom is you rarely see him lose an interview. He's usually well prepared and isn't afraid to throw down. Edited June 13 by The Evil Genius 2

He’s the opposite of what we usually see with politicians, which is to Gish gallop all over the place. he addresses the point in a concise manner, and as the other person tries to gish gallop he keeps up. point after point he has a one sentence response that addresses the foolishness. thats rare to see even in good politicians. It’s to the point where initially it almost seems as if he’s well prepared for the questions but that’s not really how that works. He’s just smart and quick on his feet it can get you into trouble if you don’t know your details well but he seems to not having that problem. 1

Fan since a Fetus
I don’t like the Dems continually saying that Biden basically destroyed McCarthy. We still have a budget showdown coming up. If they got one over on McCarthy, I think you let him believe he has done something great so you can use him again. This might make McCarthy and the Repubs clamp down and not move an inch next time. It doesn’t help to continuously be reminded that you have failed. Not only on a personal level, but on the world stage. however, I do think the Dems need to focus on the Repubs weaknesses. Yes, I think McCarthy is weak, but I think you need to use him and they might be burning some bridges in the process.
LadySkinsFan
I haven't heard any Democrats saying that Biden got one over on McCarthy. It's the Republicans who are pissed about this deal and are blaming McCarthy. Biden and the Democrats are staying quiet on this one.
PleaseBlitz
I think Biden and the Democrats need to start pointing out their successes in a big way, there is an election coming up. 2
